Realme has announced the launch of a new P-series handset in India, dubbed Realme P2 Pro, also the successor to P1 Pro 5G which debuted earlier in April this year. The new P2 Pro comes packed with a Snapdragon Processor under the hood, paired with a Sony primary camera sensor on the back. Here’s everything you’d want to know about the new Realme device.

Realme P2 Pro 5G: Price, Availability

The realme P2 Pro 5G comes in Parrot Green and Eagle Grey colours and is priced at Rs 21,999 for the 8GB + 128GB model, Rs 24,999 for the 12GB + 256GB model and Rs 27,999 for the 12GB + 512GB model. The phone will be available for purchase via realme.com, Flipkart and offline stores. An early bird sale will be held on September 17th at 6PM. There’s a flat Rs 2,000 coupon discount users can avail on all variants, while buyers of 12GB RAM models can avail an additional Rs 1,000 bank discount.

Realme P2 Pro 5G: Specifications

The Realme P2 Pro 5G gets a 6.7-inch curved OLED Display with an FHD+ Resolution and offers 10-bit colour depth, 2160Hz PWM dimming, 100% P3 colour gamut coverage, 120Hz refresh rate, 2000 nits peak brightness, Gorilla Glass 7i protection, and 240Hz touch sampling rate. It also has a 20000-level automatic brightness adjustment.

Under the hood, the smartphone equips a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC, up to 12GB LPDDR4x RAM, and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. For optics, it comes with a 50MP Sony LYT-600 f/1.8 main camera with OIS, and an 8MP f/2.2 ultra-wide sensor. On the front, the smartphone gets a 32MP f/2.45 Sony selfie sensor.

Next, it packs a 5200mAh battery with support for 80W fast wired charging. The smartphone runs on Android 14-based Realme UI 5.0 out of the box. Additional features include an in-display fingerprint sensor and dual stereo speakers. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6, 5G, USB-C port and Bluetooth v5.2. The handset is also IP65-rated.

The device competes with the likes of Nothing Phone (2a) Plus, Vivo T3 Pro 5G, Motorola Edge 50 5G, and also the OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite 5G.

Realme Pad 2 Lite: Price, Specs, Availability

The Realme Pad 2 Lite is available in Space Grey and Nebula Purple, and two storage variants: 4GB + 128GB priced at Rs 14,999 and 8GB + 128GB priced at Rs 16,999. The tablet will be available via realme.com, Flipkart & Mainline channels soon, with the sale date yet to be unveiled.

The Realme Pad 2 Lite sports a 10.5-inch (1920 x 1200) LCD screen with up to 90Hz refresh rate, up to 450 nits peak brightness, and Eye Comfort Display feature. It is powered by an Octa Core MediaTek Helio G99 SoC, paired with up to 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB storage which is expandable memory via a microSD slot. The tablet runs on Android 15 with realme UI 5.0 for Pad.

For optics, there’s an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front-facing camera. There’s also a side-mounted fingerprint scanner along with quad stereo speakers. Connectivity options on the tablet include Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth v5.3, and a USB Type-C port, both for audio and charging the 8300mAh battery at up to 15W speeds.

Xiaomi is all set to launch its 14T series smartphones globally on September 26, which will include the Xiaomi 14T and the Xiaomi 14T Pro. Ahead of the launch, detailed specifications as well as high Resolution renders of the Xiaomi 14T series have been leaked, and here’s everything to know about them.

Xiaomi 14T Series: Price (Rumoured)

The Xiaomi 14T is expected to come in Lemon Green, Titan Black, Titan Blue, and Titan Grey colours. It is expected to be priced at €699 (approx Rs 65,050) for the 12GB + 256GB model. The Xiaomi 14T Pro is rumoured to come in Titan Black, Titan Blue, and Titan Grey colours and is expected to be priced at €899 (approx Rs 83,645) for the 12GB + 512GB model.

Xiaomi 14T Series: Design, Specs (Rumoured)

The Xiaomi 14T series leak comes from the German publication WinFuture, as per whose renders, both the devices will have a nearly identical design, with the only major difference being the materials used for making the devices. The devices will have a square camera module on the back, housing three camera sensors and an LED flash. The power button appears to have a textured finish, on top of which one can see the volume rocker. The front seems to have uniform bezels, which are quite thin.

As for the specs, the Xiaomi 14T series sports a 6.67-inch (2712 x 1220 pixels) 1.5K OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, 480Hz touch sampling rate, 3840Hz ultra-high Frequency PWM dimming, HDR10+, Dolby Vision support, up to 4000 nits peak brightness, and Xiaomi Shield Glass protection.

The Xiaomi 14T is powered by the Octa-Core MediaTek Dimensity 8300-Ultra 4nm processor, which has 12GB LPDDR5x RAM and 256GB UFS 4.0 storage. The Xiaomi 14T Pro is powered by the Octa-Core MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ 4nm processor, which has 12GB LPDDR5x RAM and 512GB UFS 4.0 storage. Both will run on Xiaomi Hyper OS, which is based on Android 14.

For optics, the Xiaomi 14T gets a 50MP Sony IMX906 primary sensor with Leica tuning, f/1.62 aperture, OIS, and LED flash. It is paired with a 12MP 120° Leica ultra-wide angle lens with f/2.2 Aperture and a 50MP 2.6x Leica telephoto camera with f/1.98 aperture. On the front, there’s a 32MP sensor.

The Xiaomi 14T Pro also gets a 50MP primary rear camera with 1/ 1.31″ Light Fusion 900 sensor, f/1.62 aperture, OIS, and LED flash. It is joined by a 12MP 120° Leica ultra-wide angle lens with f/2.2 aperture and a 50MP 2.6x Leica telephoto camera with f/1.98 aperture. It also has a 32MP front-facing sensor. The only difference between the two camera setups is the primary sensor.

The Xiaomi 14T series packs a 5000mAh battery, with 67W Fast charging on 14T and 120W fast charging and 50W wireless charging on 14T Pro. Connectivity options on the two include 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 7 802.11 ax, Bluetooth v5.4, GPS, NFC, and a USB-C port for charging. The 14T series will also have an in-display optical fingerprint sensor and Dolby Atmos stereo speakers.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra renders were leaked a few days back, giving us our first look at the upcoming Ultra handset from the Korean smartphone maker. Now, it’s time for Samsung Galaxy S25 renders, showcasing the design of the device which doesn’t seem drastically different compared to this year’s Galaxy S24.

Galaxy S25 renders were leaked by Android Headlines, showcasing the rear and front of the handset. The back has a triple camera setup with a design for sensors that looks similar to that of the Galaxy Z Fold 6. It’s the same design we also saw in the Galaxy S25 Ultra renders, suggesting the whole lineup will maintain a consistency in this regard.

The sensors are stacked vertically, similar to that of the Galaxy S22, S23, and even the S24. The frame of the handset appears flat with the buttons on the right spine while there’s a USB-C port and a speaker opening at the bottom. There’s also a SIM Tray and the mic at the bottom.

The display on the front has symmetrical bezels all around it, similar to Galaxy S24 and also appear identical in size. It is expected to be the same in size as the S24, which is 6.2-inches. Going by the past trends, a similar design will be employed in the Galaxy S25+ as well, but in a bigger overall form factor. Overall, the Galaxy S25 (and likely the S25+) won’t be going through a major redesign, unlike the Galaxy S25 Ultra.

Samsung could use up to 12GB RAM on the non-Ultra models while the base model will start with 128GB of storage. The battery will also likely remain the same at 4,000mAh battery cell. Aside from that, the Galaxy S25 is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 globally.

What’s disappointing though, is that reports suggest Samsung will be using the same 50MP primary rear camera sensor in the Galaxy S25 which it used in the Galaxy S24 series. In addition, it will also pack the same 12MP front-facing sensor as the Galaxy S24. If that wasn’t enough, both these sensors will also be employed in the Galaxy S25+.

Lava is all set to announce a new smartphone, dubbed Lava Blaze 3 5G, which will be the successor to the Blaze 2 5G which launched in India in November 2023. Ahead of the launch, Lava has revealed the key specifications as well as the price at which the device will be made available.

Lava Blaze 3 5G: Price, Availability

The Blaze 3 5G will be available at a special launch price of Rs 9,999 including the bank offer. Without the offer, the device costs Rs 11,499. The device will be available in a single 6GB + 128GB model. Aside from that, it will have two colour options: Glass Gold and Glass Blue. The device will be available for purchase exclusively via Amazon India and Lava e-store beginning September 18.

Lava Blaze 3 5G: Specifications

The Lava Blaze 3 5G’s highlight feature will be the ‘Vibe light’, which is similar to the Aura light we have seen in Vivo devices. The Vibe light appears to be a ring light with a warm yellow colour that can potentially improve the quality of photos in low-light conditions, and enhance Portrait mode photos, according to Lava.

The Blaze 3 5G sports a 6.56-inch HD+ IPS display with a 90Hz refresh rate, 269 ppi, and a 1600 x 720 pixels resolution. As for the chipset, it is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC under the hood.

The Blaze 3 5G gets 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM with up to 6GB Virtual RAM support. Further, there’s up to 128GB UFS 2.2 ROM. In addition, it packs a 5000mAh battery and 18W fast charging.

The smartphone runs on Android 14 OS and gets a 50 MP dual rear camera setup including a 2MP auxiliary sensor. It comes with an 8MP front camera. Connectivity options will include 5G, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, 3.5mm Headphone jack and a USB-C port for charging. The device also has stereo speakers and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication.

Samsung has announced the launch of the Galaxy M05 in India. This 4G-enabled handset looks identical to the Galaxy A05, which launched back in November last year. It is also similar to the Galaxy A06 in terms of specs, with the only difference being the lack of the fingerprint sensor in the Galaxy M05. There’s an in-display optical fingerprint sensor for biometrics. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ SoC, coupled with up to 12GB LPDDR5x RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

It is backed by a dual rear camera system, including a 50MP f/1.8 Sony IMX981 main sensor with OIS and an 8MP ultra-wide angle f/2.2 sensor. On the front, it gets a 50MP f/2.0 selfie sensor with Autofocus support.

It packs a 5500mAh battery with 80W Fast charging support. For biometrics, there is an in-display fingerprint sensor. For audio, it has a stereo speaker setup. The device will run on FunTouch OS 14, which is based on Android 14. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth v5.3, GPS, 5G, and a USB-C port for charging. Aside from that, it is also IP68 rated for water and dust resistance.

Vivo T3 Ultra 5G Vs Vivo V40

Vivo T3 Ultra starts at Rs 31,999 and goes up to Rs 35,999, close to Vivo V40’s starting price of Rs 34,999. That might confuse you as to which one to consider, and it seems like the Vivo T3 Ultra 5G is the better choice for those who want a more performance-oriented handset.

The T3 Ultra 5G packs faster LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 3.1 storage compared to Vivo 40’s LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. If that wasn’t enough, the top model of T3 Ultra offers you more RAM and storage than the starting model of V40 and costs Rs 1,000 less on top of that. Most importantly, the MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ in the T3-series device is a far more powerful Chipset compared to the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 used in Vivo V40. The display, battery, and charging speeds remain identical.

Cameras is where the Vivo V40 takes the lead and also impressed us the most in its review. The Vivo V40 features Zeiss optics which the T3 Ultra doesn’t, while it also gets a superior ultra-wide angle camera sensor. We can’t really confirm if the Vivo V40 takes better photos than the T3 Ultra as we haven’t used the latter but we can tell you so based on the on-paper specs comparison of the two.

Overall, by the looks of it, we feel the Vivo T3 Ultra 5G is worth purchasing in its segment not only over the Vivo V40, but also some of its other competitors.

Samsung began rolling out One UI 6.1.1 for the Galaxy S24 series last week with new AI features, and now it’s the Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy Z Fold 5, and Z Flip 5’s turn to get the update. According to reports online, One UI 6.1.1 for the Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy Z Fold 5, and the Flip 5 is now rolling out, bringing a load of new AI features to Samsung’s 2023 flagship devices.

According to posts shared on Samsung’s Korean Community forums, the Galaxy S23 series (incl. S23 FE), Galaxy Z Flip 5, and the Galaxy Z Fold 5 have begun receiving the One UI 6.1.1 update. The update weighs in at about a hefty 2.4GB and carries version number S918NKSU4CXH7/S918NOKR4CXH7/S918NKSU4CXH for Galaxy S23 series, F946NKSU3DXH9 for Galaxy Z Flip 5, and F731NTCU3DXHA for the Z Fold 5. The Galaxy S23 FE build number differs from the S23 series: S711NKSU3BXH7.

The update has reached devices in Korea, which means it should soon reach units in other regions. The One UI 6.1.1 update for the Galaxy S24 series was released in other regions shortly after it was released in Korea, which means Galaxy S23 series, Z Fold 5, and Z Flip 5 users outside Korea will have to wait only for a few days more before the update hits their units.

The One UI 6.1.1 update for the Galaxy S23 series, Z Fold 5, and Z Flip 5 adds features from the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and the Galaxy Z Fold 6 to the brand’s S-series devices and its previous foldables.

Portrait Studio, a feature that allows you to switch between different portrait effects, has arrived on Samsung’s 2023 flagships alongside Sketch to Image, which launched with Z Flip 6 and Fold 6. The Live Effect feature, which allows you to extract a sense of depth from 2D images of people and animals in the picture to get three-dimensional results, has also been added as part of the One UI 6.1.1 update.

Motion Clipper, which creates GIFs from motion images, along with cutout and overlay transition, have also been ported from the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6 to the devices now receiving the update. Furthermore, the feature to edit DNGs in the Galaxy Photo Editor has also been made available.
