Samsung has begun teasing the launch of the Galaxy M16 5G and the Galaxy M06 5G in India after the recent launch of the Galaxy A06 5G. The new devices are confirmed to be sold via Amazon while some of their respective specifications have also been leaked. Here’s everything to know about the new upcoming devices from Samsung.
The launch of the devices was confirmed through an Amazon microsite with a “Can’t beat the monsters” tagline which also confirms they are “coming soon.” The teaser contains the schematics of the two devices where the left one is likely for the M16 5G while the right one is for the M06 5G. The device on the left appears to have triple rear cameras while the one on the right gets dual rear cameras. The M06 5G may have a design similar to that of the F06 5G,
As for the leaked specifications of the two, the Samsung Galaxy M06 5G with the model number SM-M166P/DS recently made an appearance on the Samsung India support page and also surfaced in a Geekbench listing last month. Furthermore, this listing suggested the device could get a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 Chipset under the hood, similar to the Galaxy F06 5G and the A06 5G which also launched recently in the country. Details of the Galaxy M16 5G are still scarce.
Aside from that, Samsung’s one of the most affordable 5G smartphone launches took place a while back, which was the Galaxy F06 5G. The Galaxy F06 5G has a 6.74-inch HD+ display, housing an 8MP front-facing camera in a notch. It supports up to 90Hz Refresh Rate and 800 nits of brightness.
The device is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor, which is paired with up to 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 128GB of storage. The device’s storage can be expanded up to 1TB using a microSD card.
Earlier in June last year, it was confirmed officially that Apple will offer consumers multiple options to choose from when it comes to AI models in Apple Integration and the first choice post ChatGPT integration may be incoming. As per a new report, Apple is now prepping Gemini integration in Apple Intelligence.
In a backend update rolled out with the iOS 18.4 beta, Apple has added both “Google” and “OpenAI” as third-party model options within Apple Intelligence. This discovery comes from Aaron Perris on X.
While this doesn’t guarantee that Gemini integration in Apple Intelligence will arrive in iOS 18.4—especially given previous Apple Intelligence delays—it strongly suggests that support is on the way, possibly in a later iOS 18 update or with iOS 19. Apple is also expected to debut its own conversational Siri model in iOS 19.
According to Federighi’s previous statement, Apple chose ChatGPT to power some of the initial features of Apple Intelligence because it wanted to “start with the best.” There’s no word on when Apple might announce a partnership with Google for the latter’s Gemini model, but we do know that Apple has been in talks with Google and hasn’t closed the doors on an agreement, thanks to an earlier leaked report.
As of now, Siri can tap into ChatGPT’s expertise when it’s needed. Users will be asked for consent before any questions are sent to ChatGPT, along with any documents or photos, and Siri then presents the answer directly. The model Siri is leveraging is GPT-4o. For those who choose to access ChatGPT, Apple says their IP addresses will be hidden, and OpenAI won’t store requests.

Samsung and Apple have been rivals for a long time, and with Apple’s latest iPhone 16e, both brands are once again going head-to-head within the same price range. The Apple iPhone 16e and the Samsung Galaxy S25 are priced quite closely, which could make it difficult for buyers to choose one, but we are here to simplify that decision for you.
Display
The iPhone 16e has a 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR OLED panel. It supports HDR, TruTone, 60Hz refresh rate, 2532 x 1170 pixels Resolution at 460 ppi, and 1200 nits of peak HDR brightness.
The Galaxy S25 has a 6.2-inch FHD+ (2,340 x 1,080) Dynamic AMOLED 2x screen with a 120 Hz refresh rate. It supports HDR10+, has a Pixel density of 418 PPI, and is covered in a layer of Gorilla Glass Victus 2. The refresh rate of the display can change dynamically between 1 Hz and 120 Hz. The display supports up to 2600 nits peak brightness.
The Galaxy S25 clearly has the better panel with a higher refresh rate along with a higher brightness. Both these features on the S25 will result in a far superior experience in daily use compared to iPhone 16e’s display. Moreover, S25’s display also has narrower and equal bezels on all sides which is again something the iPhone 16e lacks.
Software & Performance
Under the hood, the Apple iPhone 16e is powered by the company’s A18 Bionic Chipset and further has support for Apple Intelligence. It further has 8GB RAM and up to 512GB storage. On the other hand, the Galaxy S25 features the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy under the hood, paired with 12GB RAM along with 256GB, and 512GB storage options. It supports Galaxy AI suite of AI features.
While both of them don’t compromise on the storage front, the Galaxy S25 takes the lead if we talk of RAM. More RAM means you get a better multitasking experience on the S25 compared to the Apple iPhone 16e.
The battle between the chipsets is more or less a tie considering both the processors are quite capable. However, the A18 Processor in the iPhone 16e isn’t identical to the A18 in the iPhone 16 as the chipset in the former has one less GPU core. While both the devices will perform exceptionally when it comes to daily tasks or even gaming, we’ll have to test them side by side to check whether there’s any difference in real world.
When we compared the iPhone 16 and the Galaxy S25, both devices did equally well in the performance department. Same is the case with software, where both devices run on the latest software versions the two companies have to offer. It depends on the buyer whether they prefer iOS’ minimal experience or Android’s customisation.
Battery and Cameras
The Apple iPhone 16e has a single OIS-assisted 48MP f/1.6 primary camera which is said to support a 2-in-1 system that also enables 12MP 2x telephoto zoom. There is a 12MP TrueDepth camera on the front of the iPhone 16e with an f/1.9 lens.
Galaxy S25 camera setup comprises a 50MP primary wide camera with f/1.8 aperture, multi-directional PDAF and OIS. Then there’s a 10MP telephoto sensor with 3x Optical Zoom support, an f/2.4 aperture, OIS, PDAF and a 12MP ultra-wide sensor with an f/2.2 Aperture and 120-degree FoV. Next, it has a 12MP f/2.2 front-facing camera.
While we haven’t tested the iPhone 16e camera yet, we can still give the Galaxy S25 the winner tag in this round due to the extra Sensors it has on the back that give it a hardware-based advantage, which the iPhone 16e can’t beat any which ways.
Speaking of battery, Apple as usual didn’t unveil the exact capacity of the cell used in iPhone 16e, but it is claimed to offer a better backup than the vanilla iPhone 16. Because we haven’t used the devices side by side and we don’t know the battery capacity of the 16e, we can’t comment on which device has a better battery life. The same goes for charging speeds as well.
Verdict
The Apple iPhone 16e comes in white and black in 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB storage capacities, costing Rs 59,900, Rs 69,900, and Rs 89,900, respectively.
The S25 starts at Rs 80,999 for the 12GB + 256GB trim and Rs 92,999 for the 12GB + 512GB model.
The Galaxy S25 costs more than the Apple iPhone 16e but delivers on all fronts for the premium it is charging, unless you prefer iOS for which we’ll suggest to opt for the iPhone 15 or the iPhone 16 instead because even those devices get better camera hardware than the 16e.

Next, to maintain the support for the older version, the original version of GTA Online on PC will be a separate instance, and players who remain on that version will not be able to play in sessions together with those on the upgraded version.

Nothing Phone (3a) series renders have been leaked ahead of the March 4 launch and the leak shows both the phones of the (3a) family in high quality. The Phone (3a) series is set to get a Snapdragon Chipset under the hood along with triple rear cameras on the back. Here are the details.
Nothing Phone (3a) series renders were leaked by Android Headlines, where the Phone (3a) can be seen having a similar camera layout as the Phone (2a) but with three cameras on the back and a refreshed see-through design. The shape of the Glyph lights have also been tweaked while their positioning remains identical to last year’s Phone (2a). The Phone (3a) will likely be made available in two colours: black and white.

Coming to the Phone (3a) Pro, this is where we see an entirely new design for the camera module which hasn’t been seen before. It’s an L-shaped design accompanied by an LED flashlight in an arc-shaped layout. The bottom portion design looks identical to the Phone (3a) and so do the glyph lights. It can be seen in grey and black shades.
The overall form factor of the devices also looks boxier compared to the more rounded corners of the Phone (2a) and the Phone (2a) Plus. Both of them have displays with even bezels on all sides.
The Nothing Phone (3a) series, as per leaks, sports a 6.77-inch AMOLED FHD+ screen with a resolution of 1084 x 2412 pixels, HDR10+, up to 3000 nits peak brightness, 240Hz touch sampling rate and a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the Nothing devices are powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 mobile platform, paired with up to 12 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of internal storage.
On the front, the Phone (3a) will get a 32-megapixel f/2.2 selfie camera while the Pro model will have a 50MP sensor. The Nothing Phone (3a) series will come with a triple rear camera setup, consisting of a 50-megapixel f/1.88 OIS-assisted primary camera, a 50-megapixel telephoto sensor, and an 8-megapixel f/2.2 ultra-wide angle camera. However, the difference here is that the Pro will have a periscope telephoto lens with 3x Optical Zoom and 60x digital zoom. The Phone (3a) will support 2x optical zoom and 30x digital zoom.

Google is releasing a couple of new updates for Lens including a new Search Screen with Google Lens option in Google App and Chrome on iOS. If you have an iPhone, you’ll find a new Lens option that lets you select and search what’s on your screen. Plus, Google has announced that AI Overviews are coming to more Lens results.
With the new Lens update, one can simply search for whatever’s on their screen through drawing, highlighting, or tapping. “Whether you’re reading an article, shopping for a product, or watching a video, you can use this feature to quickly perform a visual search while browsing, without having to take a screenshot or open a new tab,” said Google. The feature works similarly to how Circle to Search works on Android.
To get started in Chrome, open the three-dot menu and select the option labelled ‘Search Screen with Google Lens’. In the coming months, you’ll also see a new Lens icon in the address bar to access the same feature. It works the same way in the Google app for iOS. Just tap the three-dot menu, choose “Search this Screen” and then select what you’d like to search. This update is rolling out this week and will be available globally on both Chrome and the Google app for iOS.
As for the second Lens update, with the help from Google’s advanced AI models, Lens can now “go much further and provide information on the contents of more novel or unique images.” For those kinds of queries, AI Overviews will begin to appear more often in your Lens results, with no need to add a question to your visual search.
Tap the camera icon in the Search bar to snap a photo with Lens and then you’ll get an AI Overview to help you quickly make sense of what you’re looking at, along with links to helpful resources on the web.
This update is rolling out this week for English-language users in countries where AI Overviews are available, starting with the Google app for Android and iOS, and coming soon to Chrome on desktop and mobile devices.

OnePlus has introduced a new feature for its flagship smartphone, where users can now use the Night mode in Instagram on OnePlus 13. Night mode was introduced last year where Instagram said it was Camera Extensions API in Android that allows third-party apps to access various exclusive camera features “implemented by the Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs)” in their phones.
Announced via a community post, Night Mode in Instagram on OnePlus 13 uses multi-frame processing to brighten shots and reduce noise, similar to how night mode works in the native camera App on the device. “We’ve teamed up with Instagram to bring this game-changing tool directly to their in-app camera. No more switching apps or compromising on quality when posting to Stories or feeds,” said OnePlus.

Aside from this, Google also unveiled a similar new feature in December coming with Android 16 which will help developers implement the moon icon indicator, also known as the night mode indicator.
It will let the user know that a Night Mode capture will happen. Moreover, it will let the user tap the moon icon to disable Night Mode capture. This will be implemented through an upcoming API in Android 16 to let you know when the device is in a low-light environment.
