Pixel buds pro 2

The Pixel Buds Pro 2 are priced at Rs 22,900 and will be available via Flipkart for purchase in shades including Charcoal, Porcelain, Aloe, and Hot Pink. The availability date for the Pixel Buds Pro 2 will be revealed later by Google India.

The buds pack a new in-house audio chip from Google called Tensor A1. The Tensor A1 chip is built for advanced audio processing and Google AI, according to the brand. It processes audio 90 times faster than the speed of sound to adapt to you and your environment, cancels twice as much noise2 and helps deliver clear calls.

Pixel Buds Pro 2 feature 11 mm drivers for powerful bass and a new high-frequency chamber for smooth treble. Multi-path processing on the Tensor A1 chip adds an additional signal path for music. The Active Noise Cancellation with Silent Seal 2.0 adapts to your environment up to 3 million times per second, and adapts to your ear to cancel up to twice as much noise as before. By expanding the range, Silent Seal 2.0 also cancels a wider range of noises, including even higher frequencies.

Updated algorithms on the buds reduce noise in even more settings, allowing you to clearly hear the voice of the other person during calls as the buds cancel out their ambient sounds too. With Conversation Detection, Pixel Buds Pro 2 use to tell when you start speaking. Your music gets paused and the earbuds switch to Transparency mode. When the conversation ends, the music resumes automatically, going back to Active Noise Cancellation without requiring any action from the user.

Pixel Buds Pro 2 support the new Find My Device network, so that you can find your earbuds’ precise location on a map. You can also seamlessly switch audio from watching a movie or show on your Pixel phone to listening to your running playlist on your watch. It also supports features spatial audio with head tracking.

TikTok Launches Group Chats Feature, Supporting up to 32 Participants

While it’s been four years since TikTok got banned in India, it has been steadily seeing growth in regions where its supported. The has also constantly gained new features, the latest one of which is the group chats feature where TikTok users can create groups with up to 32 participants.

TikTok announced the feature via a Newsroom post, which read, “Group Chat harnesses this power, allowing you to create a shared viewing experience with friends, family, and communities.” As a result, users can now watch, comment, and react together in real time on TikTok, making every interaction more dynamic and connected. People can curate dedicated groups with up to 32 participants through group chats and easily share the videos of their choice.

Group Chat, like Direct Messaging, is not available for those users aged 13 to 15. For those who are 16 or 17 years old, TikTok has implemented some safety measures within Group Chats to block communication with strangers. For example, anyone, including teenagers, can only be added to a group chat by someone who is a mutual follower. If a teenager receives an invitation to join a group chat, they won’t be able to join unless there is at least one mutual friend already in the group.

Aside from that, “to help everyone feel comfortable with who they are messaging, people will be able to use muting and blocking tools and also report messages or the entire chat if they are concerned content violates our Community Guidelines,” read the post. TikTok will also limit the number of groups someone can create and the number of times a message can be forwarded.

Finally, Stickers support has also been added to DMs on TikTok. “Stickers provide fun and creative visual chat options that encourage the community to create and upload their own custom stickers for everyone to use,” said TikTok.

HMD Hyper: Specifications

The HMD Hyper, as per leaker @smashx_60 on X, will sport an FHD+ OLED display with a full-HD+ resolution, and a 120Hz Refresh Rate. The HMD Hyper will draw power from a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor.

While the tipster didn’t share any details about connectivity options available on the handset, we believe it should include 5G, 5, Bluetooth v5.1 and NFC along with a USB-C port and possibly a 3.5 mm audio jack.

Design-wise, the HMD Hyper will look similar to that of the HMD Skyline, retaining the fabula design language as per the leaked render. The front will have a punch-hole design, while the rear will get rectangular camera module housing the three sensors. The buttons will reside on the right side.

Google Pixel 8 is Now Being Made in India

0

As first announced last October, Google India has confirmed that the first batch of Made-in-India Pixel 8 units is now ready to roll off the production line. The announcement comes shortly before Google holds its Pixel 9 series launch event.

Google India made the announcement via an X post, where it wrote, “Excited to announce that the first of our Made in India Google #Pixel8 devices have started rolling off the production lines. Grateful for the partnership with Hon’ble Minister @AshwiniVaishnaw as we look forward to bringing the #TeamPixel experience to people across India.”

This move is seen as a strategic decision by Google to tap into the huge potential of the Indian smartphone market. When the move was announced back in October 2023, Google said that it sees a “greater opportunity to make Pixel smartphones available to more people in India”, and as a result, it had revealed plans to manufacture its smartphones in India for the first time.

As of now, only the Pixel 8 is being produced in India while all the other Pixel models, such as the 8a and the 8 Pro are being made elsewhere. There’s no word on when these models would join the list of Made-in-India Google Pixel devices.

The Pixel 8 currently sells for Rs 58,999 in India, which is already a significant price drop over the original price of Rs 75,999. It’s unknown as of now as to how the local production of the device would further affect its price. Ideally, the price should go down further considering local manufacturing can reduce the cost of production and distribution of the product.

Meanwhile, Google will be launching the Pixel 9 series in India on August 14, a day after the global launch of the devices. Flipkart and the Indian Google Store listings suggest that the vanilla Pixel 9 may not launch in India yet.

For the price, while the iQOO Z9x 5G lacks in the RAM department and gets only 4GB, it does better in almost all the other areas. The iQOO handset gets a better display that’s sharper with a higher resolution, a slightly better processor, better cameras, and most importantly, a much bigger battery and faster charging as well.

OPPO F27 5G India Launch Officially Confirmed

0

Oppo has officially confirmed the India launch of the F27 5G, its next F-series smartphone after the launch of the Oppo F27 Pro+ 5G earlier in June this year. While the specifications of the device are under the wraps as of now, we do have the leaked photos and launch timeline of the Oppo F27 5G and here’s what you can expect.

OPPO F27 5G: India Launch

The F27 5G’s launch in India was confirmed by OPPO India’s X handle. A report from 91mobiles says that the device will launch in India next week, while Oppo’s teaser says its “Coming soon.” The report adds that OPPO F27 will launch in two variants: 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB. These are the same variants the OPPO F27 Pro+ is available in.

OPPO F27 5G: Design, Expected Specs

The teaser shared by the brand shows the back side of the handset with a circular camera array. The array gets three camera paired with an flashlight, similar to the design of the F27 Pro+. This design is seen clearer in the live images shared by 91mobiles, where it can be seen featuring flat edges and a punch-hole display.

The rear panel has a gradient orange design and is flat, unlike the F27 Pro+ which has curved panels both on the front and back. The F27 5G also seems to have a matte finish, in comparison to the vegan leather finish on the F27 Pro+.

The specs of the Oppo F27 5G haven’t leaked yet. One would assume it’s a rebranded OPPO A3 5G as the F27 Pro+ is a rebrand of the OPPO A3 Pro 5G but the leak from the publication refutes this assumption. Whatever the case may be, we’ll have to wait for a few more days before the official launch happens or another leak comes in.

The OPPO F27 Pro+ 5G starts at Rs 27,999 in India which means the F27 5G could be priced lower than Rs 25,000 in India. This pricing would make it compete with the likes of Nothing Phone (2a), OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite 5G, and more.
