Realme is a smartphone brand that was born in China in 2010. The company was founded by Sky Li, who was also the former vice president of Oppo. In just eight years, Realme has become one of the leading smartphone brands in China and has also made its way into other markets like India and Europe.Realme phones are known for their stylish designs, powerful processors, and affordable price tags. Some of the most popular Realme models include the Realme 5 Pro, Realme X2 Pro, and Realme 3 Pro.

While Realme started out as an Oppo sub-brand, it has since become its own independent entity. In 2019, the company announced that it would be spinning off from Oppo and becoming its own separate brand. This move was aimed at helping Realme better compete against other fast-growing Chinese smartphone brands like Xiaomi and Vivo.
