The Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 series renders have been leaked ahead of the watches’ launch which is likely to happen next month. The lineup is set to inlcude three models, including Watch 8, Watch 8 Classic, and the Watch Ultra 2025, and renders for all three models have surfaced online. Here’s everything to know about their design.
Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 Series Renders Leaked
The leak comes from Android Headlines and according to the report, the Galaxy Watch 8 series renders show that the lineup will have a consistent design language across all three models. All three of the watches wil have a squircle dial, departing from the circular dial on the Galaxy Watch and Watch Classic models we have seen before.
While the dial is squircle, the display remains round on all three. The vanilla Watch 8 will simply have a flat display with a thin bezel around. The Watch 8 Classic gets a time-marker bezel as well as a rotating bezel that will make a comeback from the Watch 6 Classic.
The classic model this year also gains the new round quick button we saw on the Ultra model last year, which the 2025 Ultra model will also have. Aside from that, all three of them also have a couple of regular buttons as well. The design for the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2025 remains largely the same, except that it will be made available in new shades this time.
A report from last month suggests that the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic could arrive in a single 47mm size and could pack a 435mAh rated battery, which typically translates to a 450mAh typical capacity. Compared to the 47mm Watch 6 Classic, which had a 425mAh battery, this year’s model will have a marginally bigger cell, rated at 435mAh capacity.

Meta has announced the launch of a Video editor in Meta AI across the Meta AI app, the Meta.AI website and the Edits app. Users will now be able to easily edit their short-form videos using a variety of preset AI prompts that can transform their outfit, location, style and more. It’s available in the US and more than a dozen countries around the world
Inspired by Meta’s Movie Gen models, the company says that the “new feature is just the first step toward our goal of bringing you AI video generation and editing across our apps and products.” Later this year, users will further be able to edit videos alongside Meta AI with their own text prompts to make the video edits exactly as they imagine them.
The company notes that its new video editor in Meta AI is “intuitive and easy to use,” so anyone can make high-quality video edits without video-editing expertise. First, upload a video to the Meta AI app, the Meta.AI website or Edits app. Then, explore more than 50 editing prompts you can use to transform 10 seconds of your video for free for a limited time.
Once you’ve chosen a preset prompt, Meta AI will edit your video to match the selected scenario. You can turn your video into a graphic novel, and see yourself reimagined as a vintage comic book illustration. Or change the lighting of a video you captured on a rainy Seattle day to create a dreamy mood with shimmery sparkles, pearlescent blur and soft focus. Or you can turn your video into a video game, complete with fluorescent lighting and battle clothing.
From Edits and the Meta AI app, you can share your edited videos directly to Facebook and Instagram. In the Meta AI App and Meta.AI web, you can share your edited videos directly to the Discover feed.
“We built this feature so that everyone can experiment creatively and make fun, interesting videos to share with their friends, family and followers. Whether you’re reimagining a favorite family memory or finding new ways to entertain your audience, our video editing feature can help. We also think it can transform the way creators make content on our platforms, so we worked with creators to understand which prompts would appeal to their audiences, and because our video editing feature is built into the Edits app, it can become a seamless part of the creative process,” said Meta in its blog post.

HARMAN, a subsidiary of Samsung Electronics and a supplier of connected car technology, has introduced the first in-vehicle display powered by Samsung’s Neo QLED technology. The system is now available in the new Tata Motors Harrier.ev.
The 14.53-inch screen marks the first application in automative of Neo QLED, a display technology that uses Quantum Dots and Mini-LED backlighting. The display is designed to meet the performance requirements of electric vehicles, with energy management handled by real-time algorithms developed by HARMAN. These algorithms adjust visual output to control power consumption.
According to HARMAN, the Neo QLED In-Vehicle Display offers a 1200-nit peak brightness level and supports a 95% NTSC color gamut. It also includes cadmium-free Quantum Dot components and Blue Mini-LED control to reduce environmental impact. The system operates under various lighting conditions and complies with industry standards for durability and safety.
The Neo QLED display is part of a longer partnership between HARMAN and Tata Motors. The companies first collaborated over a decade ago with the integration of JBL-branded audio systems in Tata’s vehicles. With the Harrier.ev, the scope of the partnership has expanded to include visual systems.
Shilpa Dely, Vice President of Displays at HARMAN, stated that the launch brings consumer electronics display capabilities into the automotive environment. “This closes the gap between automotive and consumer visual technology,” she said.
Anand Kulkarni, Chief Product Officer at Tata Passenger Electric Mobility, described the system as a step toward improving in-cabin digital interfaces. “This collaboration builds on our existing platform and brings new use cases into the vehicle interior,” he said.
Sanjeev Kulkarni, Vice President of Sales at HARMAN, highlighted the ongoing partnership with Tata Motors. “Our collaboration has expanded from sound to full cockpit experiences,” he said. “This new display continues that trajectory.”
The introduction of Neo QLED In-Vehicle Display in Tata’s Harrier.ev signals an effort by both companies to integrate consumer-grade technologies into passenger vehicles through long-term supplier relationships.
Google has begun rolling out stable Android 16 update for eligible Pixel smartphones as a part of the June 2025 Pixel drop. “This is the earliest Android has launched a major release in the last few years, which ensures you get the latest updates as soon as possible on your devices,” said Google. Android 16’s beta testing began over three months ago.
Android 16: All New Features
Android 16 brings live updates, where instead of opening your delivery App every 5 minutes, live updates keep you informed in real-time. These live updates are starting with compatible ride-share and food delivery apps. Google says it is working together with app partners to bring this capability to the Android ecosystem, including in Samsung’s Now Bar and OPPO and OnePlus’ Live Alerts.
Moreover, Google is also force-grouping notifications that come from a single app to help reduce information overload. Your notifications will automatically be grouped together to keep things looking better organised.
Android 16 provides significant enhancements for people who use hearing aids. Current LE audio hearing devices use their built-in front-facing mics for audio input. Those mics are designed to pick up the sound of the person you’re speaking to — not the sound of your voice. Now you can switch to using your phone’s microphone for clearer calls in noisy environments.
Google is also releasing native control for hearing devices in Android 16 for easier access and a more consistent experience. This means you can now control things like volume on your hearing devices right from your Android phone.
Android 16 also introduces Advanced Protection, a feature that was detailed a few weeks back. It is “Google’s strongest mobile device protection,” and enables an array of robust device security features that protect you from online attacks, harmful apps, unsafe websites, scam calls and more.
Then, in Android 16, Google says it worked closely with Samsung to develop desktop windowing, a new way to interact with your apps and content on large-screen devices. In addition to the single app and split-screen modes, you can open, move and resize multiple app windows in a single screen, just like a desktop. This makes it easier to work across apps. Android 16’s desktop windowing will roll out later this year on compatible devices.
Not only this, but Google will also be launching custom keyboard shortcuts, so you can create your own combination of hotkeys, and taskbar overflow, which provides a simple, visual way for you to find the app you need when the taskbar is full. Future updates will also bring even more productivity enhancements to Android, allowing you to connect tablets and phones to an external display for an expanded desktop experience, and developers can begin testing those features starting today.
There are many more features to explore with Android 16 — like HDR screenshots, adaptive refresh rate, identity check and others. Google reiterates that more Material 3 Expressive design updates are coming to Android 16 and Wear OS 6 on Pixel devices later this year.
June 2025 Pixel Drop
Google has introduced Pixel VIPs with the June 2025 Pixel drop. Available only on Pixel, the new Pixel VIPs widget from the Contacts app helps you stay connected to your favorite people. To get the best Pixel VIPs experience, Google tells users to add as many details as one can, like birthdays, emails, home addresses and preferences.
You can view your last call and message with your VIPs (including ones from WhatsApp), see their location when shared, receive updates for important events like birthdays and more. VIPs can also bypass Do Not Disturb, so you can always stay in touch with the people who matter to you most. And sensitive data – like your call log or content of your messages – never leaves your device.
Through Pixel Studio, “you can create a sticker of nearly anything you can imagine right on Gboard, thanks to generative AI. Simply type in your prompt, choose the right emotion and send, without having to switch apps,” said Google.
The company expanding its existing Pixel features to even more users. Satellite SOS is now available in Australia, so you can connect with emergency services without a cellular or Wi-Fi connection. And the Recorder app can now provide AI-generated summaries of your recordings in French and German. The company is also bringing Clear voice in the Recorder App to Pixel 8 phones, so you can remove background noises from recordings.
A new education hub in Pixel camera app has been added. Pixel users can now tap the question mark icon in the upper right hand corner of Pixel’s Camera to see visual inspiration of what each mode does, along with helpful how-to instructions.
You can now use live search in the Magnifier app in Pixel to help you learn more about your surroundings in real time — without needing to take a picture first. Instead, you can type what you’re looking for, like an item on a menu, and Magnifier will highlight matches on the screen as you move your phone. Your phone will also give a little vibration when it finds something.
Now you can also use new LE audio features with hearing aids on Pixel 9 and newer phones running Android 16. This makes it easy for you to take calls on the go and access your hearing aid presets, as well as change your ambient volume through your Pixel phone settings.
You can now use Expressive Captions on your Pixel which aims to understand the intensity, nuance and emotion conveyed through speech and now it can even capture elongated words, such as “yessss!” And it’s available in even more countries beyond the U.S., including Canada, the U.K. and Australia.
Finally, AI-powered suggestions in Google Photos can enhance your photos in just a single tap, plus you get instant access to recommended tools based on what you select to edit and easier access to your favourite tools for complete control.

The Nothing Phone (3) design has been leaked in high quality ahead of the upcoming July 1 launch. The Phone (3) has already been confirmed to ship without any glyph lights and the new design leak showcases that. The device is set to be the brand’s most premium flagship till date.
The Nothing Phone (3) design was leaked by well known tipster Max Jambor on X, where he shared the render of the handset in a white shade. One can notice the usual stripes we see in Nothing smartphones. Furthermore, it seems to have a more curvier form factor than the Phone (3a) devices, and looks similar to that of the Phone (2a).
However, the Nothing Phone (3) design leak doesn’t showcase the rumoured dot matrix design on the back which is said to be replacing the glyph LED lights. The middle strip could have an integrated display which cannot be seen in the render as of yet. One can also spot the Essential key below the power button. The volume buttons reside on the opposite side.
The device seems to have a glass back panel and will likely sport a flat frame. The triple camera setup on the back doesn’t have a symmetry as such. These rumoured lenses are supposed to be the primary sensor, an ultra-wide angle sensor, and a telephoto sensor. We should know more about the device’s specifications as we get closer to the launch.
In another recent leak related to the device, it was revealed that the Nothing Phone (3) price in the US will be set at $799 (approx Rs 68,300) for the 12GB + 256GB model and $899 (approx Rs 76,800) for the 16GB + 512GB trim. It will be available in two colour options: Black and White. Judging by the US pricing, one could expect the device to start at around RS 60,000 or less in India. Note that this is purely a speculation.
The company will also launch the Nothing Headphone (1) on July 1 alongside its flagship phone.
