Boult Smart Ring Coming This Summer, MagSafe Chargers for iPhones Also Launching Soon

Boult Audio, the homegrown accessories brand, is all set to enter the smart ring category as soon as this summer. Furthermore, the company is also preparing to launch MagSafe chargers for iPhones “very soon.” Here are all the exclusive details about the upcoming launches from the brand.

On the sidelines of Boult’s latest audio product launches in partnership with Mustang, Boult CEO Varun Gupta sat down with The Mobile Indian to reveal some exclusive details about its upcoming launches. While he already teased the Boult Smart Ring nearly a year ago, Varun says that the product is finally nearing launch. “We did face some challenges in the development of our ring but by this summer, specifically in the June – July timeframe, consumers will be able to experience our next smart wearable.”

Gupta also described some of the issues the team faced during the development of the ring, including how the ring could count fake steps while a user would be typing on a keyboard. Such issues would hamper the user experience, and that’s the reason why the launch of the Boult Smart Ring was delayed. “We want to give consumers a perfect product,” he said. In other words, it seems like the team may have finally ironed out the said issues.

Meanwhile, Varun also confirmed the arrival of MagSafe wireless chargers for iPhones which Boult will be launching in the upcoming days. These chargers will supposedly have striking designs. Further, he said that consumers can expect more launches from the brand in the speakers and home audio systems categories.

Boult’s latest launches included the Boult Mustang Q wireless headphones, Boult Mustang Dyno earbuds, and two new shades of the Boult Mustang Torq. The Mustang Q over-ear headphones feature 40mm Bass Boosted Drivers and BoomX Technology for deep bass and clear audio. With a 70-hour battery life and 4 EQ modes, users can customize their experience. It further packs Memory foam earcups to ensure all-day comfort and durability.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 Renders Leaked in High Quality

0

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 Renders have been leaked in high quality, giving us our first look at the upcoming generation of book-style foldable from Samsung. The renders suggest that Samsung will be sticking to the design of the Galaxy Z Fold 6 for the most part with minute changes that would be barely noticeable at first glance.

Samsung changed things up a bit in terms of design with the S25 Ultra this year over its predecessor but that won’t be the case with its foldable. As per the Galaxy Z Fold 7 renders shared by Android Headlines, the biggest change in the design over the Z Fold 6 is going to be the thickness. The Galaxy Z Fold 7 will be just 4.5mm thick when unfolded, and 9.5mm when folded (including the camera bump, closer to 9mm without it).

Z fold 7 renders leaked

That makes it about 1.1mm thinner than the Galaxy Z Fold 6, and 0.4mm thinner than the Galaxy Z Fold 6 SE, the publication noted. It will feature an approximately 8.2-inch inner display and a 6.5-inch outer display, making both screens larger than before. This would also give it the largest inner display among book-style foldables.

The dimensions of the Galaxy Z Fold 7 are about 158.4 x 143.1 x 4.5mm which means that the front display is slightly wider than last year’s Fold 6. As for the design on the back, it could remain identical to last year’s fold with three stacked vertically, joined by a flash. While the design may remain the same, the primary sensor could get a notable upgrade, including a 200-megapixel primary sensor which is the same one used in the Galaxy Z Fold SE.

The other two sensors could remain the same as before, including a 12-megapixel ultrawide sensor and 10-megapixel telephoto sensor. The front display may house a 10-megapixel selfie camera, along with a 4-megapixel under-display camera on the inner display.

The device could be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite with 7 cores, along with the same 4400mAh battery as the previous three generations of foldables from the brand which is unfortunate. As for the launch timeframe, the device could arrive in July of this year, but nothing has been officially confirmed as of now.

Samsung Galaxy S25 February 2025 Update Rolled Out Globally

0

Samsung has rolled out the Galaxy S25 February 2025 update globally which also comes as the first security patch release post the launch of the handset. The update, apart from bringing the latest security patch, has also stabilised some functions of the devices as per the changelog.

Samsung has released the update globally (including India) at around the same time which is also quite rare for the brand considering it usually releases them region by region in a phased manner. The update carries a size of 663.09 for the Galaxy S25+ and 558 MB for the Galaxy S25. The update mentions that the security of the device and the overall stability functions as well.

Galaxy S25 series latest update

One could also notice the seamless updates support on the Galaxy S25 devices similar to the Galaxy A55 from last year. Seamless updates allows users to use their devices while the update is installed in the background, unlike the older process where they had to wait till the device completed the reboot process to complete the update. We also noticed that the updat installed much faster on the Galaxy S25 series compared to those devices which do not support seamless updates.

The Galaxy S25 February 2025 update has arrived a little late than Samsung’s usual schedule as it was running the December 2024 patch until now. A similar situation has been persistent with Samsung’s One UI 7 update as well which still hasn’t arrived on the older devices for which the brand is also receiving some backlash from consumers on X.

Samsung recently released One UI 7 Beta 4 after a gap of more than a month since its last beta, shortly after which Beta 5 was also released as a hotfix update. The beta 4 update has several new features to offer, including support for AI filters, log video recording on the S24 Ultra, and more.

Apple Preps Gemini Integration in Apple Intelligence: Report

0

Earlier in June last year, it was confirmed officially that Apple will offer consumers multiple options to choose from when it comes to models in Apple Integration and the first choice post ChatGPT integration may be incoming. As per a new report, Apple is now prepping Gemini integration in Apple Intelligence.

In a backend update rolled out with the 18.4 beta, Apple has added both “Google” and “OpenAI” as third-party model options within Apple Intelligence. This discovery comes from Aaron Perris on X.

While this doesn’t guarantee that Gemini integration in Apple Intelligence will arrive in iOS 18.4—especially given previous Apple Intelligence delays—it strongly suggests that support is on the way, possibly in a later iOS 18 update or with iOS 19. Apple is also expected to debut its own conversational Siri model in iOS 19.

According to Federighi’s previous statement, Apple chose ChatGPT to power some of the initial features of Apple Intelligence because it wanted to “start with the best.” There’s no word on when Apple might announce a partnership with Google for the latter’s Gemini model, but we do know that Apple has been in talks with Google and hasn’t closed the doors on an agreement, thanks to an earlier leaked report.

As of now, Siri can tap into ChatGPT’s expertise when it’s needed. Users will be asked for consent before any questions are sent to ChatGPT, along with any documents or photos, and Siri then presents the answer directly. The model Siri is leveraging is GPT-4o. For those who choose to access ChatGPT, Apple says their IP addresses will be hidden, and OpenAI won’t store requests.
