Apple has seemingly halted the Vision Pro 2nd Gen development to focus more on the Apple AI Glasses according to a latest report, which also suggests that Apple wants to unveil these glasses as soon as next year, followed by a launch in 2027. Here’s everything to know about the development.
As per Mark Gurman of Bloomberg, Apple was said to be prepping a cheaper, lighter variant of its current-gen Vision Pro — code-named N100 — for release in 2027. But the company announced internally last week that “it’s moving staff from that project to accelerate work on glasses, according to people with knowledge of the matter,” said the Bloomberg report.
As per the leak, there will at least be two types of Apple AI Glasses, including one dubbed N50 which will pair with an iPhone and won’t feature a display. The second one will be a lot like Meta’s latest Meta Ray-Ban Display, which in Apple’s case will also have a display built into the glasses itself.
Apple aims to unveil the first model as soon as next year, ahead of a release in 2027. While the second one was planned for 2028, the company is now planning to accelerate the development of that particular model. However, a release timeframe was not shared for this model.
The upcoming Apple AI Glasses will reportedly rely heavily on voice interaction and artificial intelligence. Both of these will be handled by a revamped Siri, which as per the report is planned to launch as early as March. The new Siri will “help power a new range of devices, including glasses, speakers, displays and cameras.”
The Apple AI Glasses will be available in a range of styles and will pack an entirely new chip. They’ll also include “speakers for music playback, cameras for media recording, and voice-control features that will work with a connected phone. Apple has also been exploring a suite of health-tracking capabilities for the device.”
The report reiterates that Meta is also working on a second-gen Meta Ray-Ban Display scheduled to debut in 2027 which will have a display in both lenses instead of just one like in the current generation.
Beats Powerbeats Fit earbuds have been launched in India and globally as the Apple-owned brand’s latest audio product aimed at those who workout. “Powerbeats Fit are true wireless earbuds made for everything from workouts to work calls, with universal secure-fit wingtips that gently tuck into your ear to stay in place,” says the brand.
Beats Powerbeats Fit: Price, Availability
Priced at Rs 24,900, the Beats Powerbeats Fit are available via Apple’s online store, and other major online and offline retailers in Jet Black, Gravel Gray, Spark Orange, and Power Pink shades.
Beats Powerbeats Fit: Features
Designed to fit comfortably and securely, the buds sport flexible wingtips. The ergonomic earbud shape is designed around a custom acoustic platform and Proprietary drivers that are claimed to “deliver powerful, balanced sound across the full audio spectrum for an incredible listening experience.” Powerbeats Fit also support Personalised Spatial Audio with dynamic head tracking.
Powered by the Apple H1 chip, Powerbeats Fit give iOS users seamless features out of the box, like Automatic Switching between devices, Audio Sharing, hands-free Hey Siri, Find My and more.
Adaptive EQ tailors your sound to the personal fit and seal created by each earbud, using advanced microphones to measure what you’re hearing, then adjusting audio output to fit you. They also sport dual beam-forming microphones that pinpoint your voice and an internal Processor that minimises external noise such as wind.
For absolute focus, advanced Active Noise Cancelling (ANC) blocks external sounds, while Transparency mode lets you hear what’s going on around you. They are sweat and water resistant with an IPX4 rating, so they can handle intense training even in the rain, snow or heat.
They offer up to 30 hours of battery power with the charging case, with each bud delivering up to 7 hours of playback per charge. A quick 5‑minute charge will give you up to an hour of playback when battery is low. The redesigned charging case is 17 per cent smaller than its predecessor, as per the brand.
One can take calls, FaceTime with Spatial Audio with Dolby Atmos and activate Siri with Class 1 Bluetooth connectivity. Each earbud is equipped with Auto‑Play/Pause Sensors that detect when they’re tucked into your ears.
Powerbeats Fit come with four ear tip sizes designed to fit different ear shapes and sizes: extra-small, small, medium and large.
Samsung has reportedly restarted the Galaxy S26+ development which was believed to be a non-existent device in next year’s Galaxy S-series lineup. It was supposed to be replaced by the Galaxy S26 Edge but it seems like Samsung still isn’t confident about how that would pan out.
According to a report from The Elec, Samsung has restarted the Galaxy S26+ development as the Galaxy S25 Edge sales aren’t matching Samsung’s expectations, which makes the brand doubtful about its successor’s sales figures. The device is reportedly called M Plus internally, and it could launch alongside the Galaxy S26 Pro (M1), Galaxy S26 Edge (M2), and Galaxy S26 Ultra (M3) early next year.
Samsung usually launches its devices in January, so one can expect to see four new additions to the Galaxy S lineup in 2026. It is unclear as to what specifications the device would bring, or whether it would be called the Galaxy S26+ or not, considering the base model has supposedly been renamed to Galaxy S26 Pro.
Any which way, this is a welcome move for the Plus lovers who do not want to sacrifice on the battery. That is because the S26 Edge will reportedly have a 4200mAh battery, which is bigger than S25 Edge but is still smaller than the Galaxy S25+, which has a 4900mAh battery.
In related news, the Galaxy S26 Ultra renders were leaked recently. Per those renders, the device will feature a pill-shaped camera module housing three sensors, while a fourth sensor will be placed next to these three. Aside from this change, you can expect a similar-looking phone as the Galaxy S25 Ultra. On the front, there’s a flat display once again. It will include a centered display punch hole up top and the bezels around the display will be thin and uniform.
Apple is expected to debut new iPads sometime soon, likely before the end of the year, and we now have a glimpse at what’s to come for the Pro model. The iPad Pro M5 has been leaked in an unboxing video which is likely one of the biggest leaks for Apple, considering the YouTuber who unboxed the tablet had a retail package which was sealed.
The video from Russian YouTuber Wylsacom shows the iPad Pro M5 packed in a box that looks identical to that of the iPad Pro M4. It will come in the same 13-inch size, aluminum build, and colour options as the previous generation. Accessories, including cases made for the 2024 iPad Pro, will likely fit the new model considering one cannot tell which iPad is which in the video in terms of design, suggesting the primary update this year is the switch to the M5 chip.
Externally, the new iPad Pro is nearly indistinguishable from its M4-powered predecessor. Performance, however, shows incremental gains. In Geekbench 6, the M5 iPad Pro scored 4,133 in single-core (up 10% from 3,748) and 15,437 in multi-core (up 15% from 13,407). The device also comes with 12GB of RAM in the 256GB storage variant, compared to 8GB in the equivalent M4 version. Benchmark details point to a 50% increase in L2 cache while retaining the same 9-core CPU configuration.
Graphics performance sees a larger leap. The M5 iPad Pro achieved 74,568 in the Geekbench GPU test, about 33% higher than the M4 model’s 55,702. On AnTuTu v10, the new tablet scored 3,137,936 compared to the M4’s 2,897,765 — an 8% improvement overall. However, for some reason, the iPad Pro M4’s CPU score on AnTuTu was slightly higher despite being the older chip.
With no visible design changes and only incremental performance gains outside of GPU improvements, the M5 iPad Pro appears to be a refinement rather than a redesign of Apple’s high-end tablet lineup.
Amazon has announced a slew of new hardware including a new Echo Dot Max, Echo Studio, Echo Show 8, Echo Show 11, and a new lineup of Fire TV devices, all built with Alexa+ at their core. Here’s everything to know about the latest lineup of Echo products by Amazon.
Amazon has powered the devices with two custom-designed silicon chips—AZ3 and AZ3 Pro—with an all-new AI Accelerator designed to run AI EDGE models. Echo Dot Max uses AZ3 to enable better conversation detection, as it powers the company’s best microphone array yet, supporting even more natural, free-flowing interactions with Alexa+, filtering out background noise and improving Alexa’s ability to detect the wake-word by over 50%.
Echo Studio, Echo Show 8, and Echo Show 11 include the more advanced AZ3 Pro, which builds on the power of AZ3’s audio capabilities, adding support for “state-of-the-art language models and vision transformers.”
Built on top of this silicon is Omnisense, the company’s own custom sensor platform designed for ambient AI. Omnisense leverages a range of Sensors and signals—the 13-megapixel camera on its new Echo Show devices, audio, ultrasound, Wi-Fi radar, accelerometer, and Wi-Fi CSI. This technology allows Alexa to intelligently act on various events happening in and around your home, enabling more personalized, proactive, and helpful experiences, such as delivering a reminder when a specific person walks in the room, or a proactive alert that your garage door is unlocked and it’s after 10 p.m.
Amazon Echo Dot Max, Echo Studio
The first-ever Echo Dot Max features nearly 3x the bass compared to Echo Dot (5th gen) with room-filling sound that automatically adapts to your space. For the first time, Echo Dot has been engineered from the ground up with two speakers. Echo Dot Max features a two-way speaker system with a high-excursion woofer optimised for deep bass and a custom tweeter for crisp high notes.
Amazon also re-architected the sound system. The new design eliminates the separate speaker module, integrating the speaker directly into the device housing to double the air space for fuller bass. The result is a compact speaker that packs a huge punch. The Echo Dot Max costs $99.99 (approx Rs 8,870).
For the $129.99 (approx Rs 11,500) Echo Studio, Amazon made it 40% smaller than the original. The new Echo Studio combines a high-excursion woofer that delivers deep, immersive bass and three optimally placed full-range drivers to create immersive sound that fills the room. Plus, it supports spatial audio and Dolby Atmos for a true surround sound experience.
In addition to premium audio, this new smart speaker features a new modern spherical design and premium material. The fabric has been knit in 3D to maintain acoustic transparency. And, it has added an engaging visual understanding model to the familiar light ring.
The company adds that you can connect up to five Echo Studio or Echo Dot Max devices with compatible Fire TV sticks for an immersive surround sound system. With Alexa Home Theater, you plug in your speakers, and Alexa takes care of the rest—automatically tuning them to the room.
The new Echo devices are available for pre-order today and U.S. customers will get Alexa+ Early Access out of the box with the purchase of any new Echo. The all-new Echo Dot Max and Echo Studio will be available on October 29.
The displays on the Echo Show 8 and Echo Show 11 combine in-cell touch and negative liquid crystal design paired with ambient visuals that adapt to the environment. “This approach allowed us to reduce layers of lamination and maximize the viewing angle. The picture quality is exceptional with improved clarity in both bright and dimly lit rooms,” said Amazon.
With the 13-megapixel camera, Alexa recognizes when you walk up to the device, greets you, and shows you the information you want. Further, you can see Alexa’s more visual conversational responses, view your favorite photos, manage new color-coded family calendars, or get intelligent summaries of your Ring video footage. These all-new high-density, high-definition displays pack in over a million pixels, and the company adds that it has also maximized the viewable screen area. Amazon also designed the UI to fit better into the new screens, such as:

Alexa+ can also help you discover the perfect gift for any person or occasion across Amazon’s vast catalog—asking intelligent questions to narrow down the search, and offering personalized recommendations based on the information you’ve shared.
Amazon is now working with Oura to help you achieve your health and wellness goals. If you choose to connect your Oura account, Alexa can provide personalized suggestions like getting in a quick workout based on your schedule or nudge you when you’re nearing your optimal sleep window. It Will be adding more partners including Withings and Wyze to expand the health metrics you can surface soon.
The new Echo Show 8 and Echo Show 11 feature a new audio architecture as well, where both devices include new front-facing stereo speakers and a custom woofer for room-filling spatial audio. Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra renders have been leaked ahead of the device’s debut, which is expected in January of next year. The renders show the device from all angles, including a newly redesigned camera module that looks similar to the one we see in the Galaxy Z Fold 7. Here’s everything else to know about the design of the device.
As per an Android Headlines leak containing the Galaxy S26 Ultra renders, the device will feature a pill-shaped camera module housing three sensors, while a fourth sensor will be placed next to these three. Aside from this change, you can expect a similar-looking phone as the Galaxy S25 Ultra. On the front, there’s a flat display once again.
It will include a centered display punch hole up top and the bezels around the display will be thin and uniform. The corners of the Galaxy S26 Ultra will be slightly rounded along with a flat frame, maintaining the same form factor as its predecessor. The Galaxy S26 Ultra renders show the device’s right profile as well, where one can see the buttons.
The bottom of the device will be the home to the S-Pen, alongside a speaker grille, a SIM tray, and a USB-C port. In terms of thickness, the phone is expected to be 7.9mm thick. It is tipped to weigh only 217 grams.
Finally, the device could get a 6.9-inch M14 OLED panel with features like anti-reflection and a privacy screen where it will use software to hide the content being shown on the panel when seen from extreme angles. The device could employ the dual-chip strategy, with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Chipset for most of the world, and the Exynos 2600 in Europe.
It could pack a 5000mAh battery with 45W wired or 60W wired charging. It’ll get the same camera setup as the S25 Ultra, but with a downgraded 10MP 3x telephoto sensor. The device is likely to run on One UI 8.5 based on Android 16 out of the box, and could get stereo speakers and an IP68 rating as well.

Microsoft has expanded its Copilot features with the introduction of Vibe Working with Agent Mode in Excel and Word, along with Office Agent in Copilot chat. The updates aim to enhance productivity across Microsoft 365 by using advanced reasoning models for more interactive and task-focused assistance.
In Excel, Agent Mode is designed to make advanced modeling more accessible. It can generate formulas, create sheets, build visualizations, and verify results. Microsoft says the feature works like an “Excel expert,” helping users analyze data sets and produce summaries and insights without requiring deep technical knowledge.
Agent Mode in Word focuses on document creation, turning writing into a conversational process. Users can provide prompts such as summarizing feedback or highlighting key trends, and Copilot will draft, format, and refine content while asking clarifying questions. The feature is intended to make writing faster and more iterative.
Office Agent, available through Copilot chat, enables the creation of PowerPoint presentations and Word documents in a chat-first experience. Unlike earlier AI slide-generation tools, it conducts web-based research, applies reasoning to user prompts, and produces well-structured outputs. Users can then collaborate with Office Agent or refine the material directly in PowerPoint or Word.
The rollout begins today:
Agent Mode in Excel is available in the Frontier program for Microsoft 365 Copilot licensed customers and Microsoft 365 Personal or Family subscribers, on the web with desktop support coming later.
Agent Mode in Word is also rolling out today via the Frontier program, starting with Word on the web.
Office Agent in Copilot chat is available to Microsoft 365 Personal or Family subscribers in the United States, limited to the web in English.
OpenAI has announced the launch of Instant Checkout in ChatGPT, powered by the Agentic Commerce Protocol and built with Stripe. Limited to the US for now, the feature allows users to make purchases via ChatGPT through a text prompt from Etsy sellers, with over a million Shopify merchants to be added soon.
Instant Checkout in ChatGPT: Everything to Know
U.S. ChatGPT Plus, Pro, and Free users can now buy directly from U.S. Etsy sellers in chat, with over a million Shopify merchants, like Glossier, SKIMS, Spanx and Vuori, coming soon. Today, Instant Checkout supports single-item purchases and OpenAI will soon add multi-item carts and expand merchants and regions.
If a user searches for a product on ChatGPT and that product supports Instant Checkout, users can tap “Buy,” confirm their order, shipping, and payment details, and complete the purchase without ever leaving the chat. Existing ChatGPT subscribers can pay with their card on file, or other card and express payment options.
Orders, payments, and fulfillment are handled by the merchant using their existing systems. ChatGPT simply acts as the user’s AI agent—securely passing information between user and merchant, like a digital personal shopper would.
Merchants pay a small fee on completed purchases, but the service is free for users, doesn’t affect their prices, and doesn’t influence ChatGPT’s product results. Instant Checkout items are not preferred in product results. When ranking multiple merchants that sell the same product, ChatGPT considers factors like availability, price, quality, whether a merchant is the primary seller, and whether Instant Checkout is enabled, to optimize the user experience.
OpenAI employed Agentic Commerce Protocol with Stripe and leading merchants to enable Instant Checkout in ChatGPT. It allows to:
Keep merchants in control of the customer relationship as the merchant of record across the purchase journey–from fulfillment and returns to support and communication.
Work across platforms, payment processors, and business types.
Integrate quickly without changing their backend systems.
When someone places an order, ChatGPT sends the necessary details to the merchant’s backend using Agentic Commerce Protocol. The merchant accepts or declines the order, processes the payment via their existing provider, and handles fulfillment and customer support exactly as they do with their current process.
”If a merchant already processes payments with Stripe, they can enable agentic payments in as little as one line of code. If they use another payment processor, they can still participate in Instant Checkout and accept agentic payments either by using Stripe’s new Shared Payment Token API or adopting the Delegated Payments Spec in the Agentic Commerce Protocol—all without changing their existing payment processor,” said OpenAI.
OpenAI notes that the user always stays in control of the whole experience:
User explicitly confirms each step before any action is taken.
Encrypted payment tokens are only authorized for specific amounts and specific merchants with the user’s permission.
Only the information required to complete the order is shared with the merchant, with the user’s permission.
Available to all ChatGPT users starting today, parental controls allow parents to link their account with their teen’s account and customize settings for a safe, age-appropriate experience. To set up parental controls, a parent or guardian sends an invite to their teen to connect accounts. After the teen accepts, the parent can manage the teen’s settings from their own account. Teens can also invite a parent to connect.
Once linked, parents can customize their teen’s experience in ChatGPT in a simple control page in account settings. If a teen unlinks their account, their parent will be notified. Once parents and teens connect their accounts, the teen account will automatically get additional content protections, including reduced graphic content, viral challenges, sexual, romantic or violent roleplay, and extreme beauty ideals.
Other additional features for parents include:
From a simple control page, parents can:
Set quiet hours, or specific times when ChatGPT can’t be used.
Turn off voice mode, to remove the option to use voice mode in ChatGPT.
Turn off memory, so ChatGPT won’t save and use memories when responding.
Remove image generation, so ChatGPT won’t have the ability to create or edit images.
Opt out of model training, so their teen’s conversations won’t be used to improve models powering ChatGPT.
OpenAI has also added protections that help ChatGPT recognise potential signs that a teen might be thinking about harming themselves. If its systems detect potential harm, a small team of specially trained people reviews the situation. If there are signs of acute distress, the company will contact parents by email, text message and push alert on their phone, unless they have opted out.
Finally, in the coming months, the company is also building an age prediction system that will help it predict whether a user is under 18 so that ChatGPT can automatically apply teen-appropriate settings.
