Months after launching the WH-1000XM3 headphones in India, Sony India has further expanded its noise cancellation headphones line-up with the launch of WH-CH700N. The all-new Wireless Noise-Canceling Headphones are specially designed for long hours of listening and is built with digital noise cancellation. The Sony WH-CH700N Wireless Noise-Cancelling Headphones will be available for a selling price of Rs 12,990.
The Sony WH-CH700N features an ultra-comfortable design with an adjustable slider headband and premium soft Earpads. The ear cups are designed to swivel flat and be packed inside a bag for easy portability and the adjustable headband offers the right fit for users with different head sizes.
Weighing in at around 240 grams, the headphones come with Sony’s revolutionary noise cancelling technology which when paired with an Artificial Intelligence Noise Cancelation (AINC) analyses background sound and adjusts it for optimal performance on aeroplanes and other noisy environments. Users can activate the feature by pressing and holding the NC button on the headphone.
Sony has also packed in support for voice assistance through Google Assistant through which users search for information and attend to calls without needing to pick up their phones. The Sony WH-CH700N comes fuelled with 35 hours of battery life and supports Quick Charge to deliver 60 minutes of playback from 10 minutes of charge. Even after running out of power, users will be able to use the headphones as a wired device through the supplied cable and thus extend the noise cancellation to up to 50 hours.
The WH-CH700N also comes with NFC and users will be able to connect to NFC-enabled devices quickly by touching the devices with the headphones’ N-mark for a faster pairing experience. Users will be able to tune their headphones for free with the Sony Headphones Connect App across iOS and Android and can also boost the quality of compressed music files with Digital Sound Enhancement Engine (DSEE) feature.
The Sony WH-CH700N Wireless Noise-Cancelling Headphones will be available in Black for an asking price of Rs 12,990 across all Sony Centers and major electronic stores in India.
