Sony Bravia Master 4K A9F 55-inch, 65-inch OLED Android TVs announced in India

Both the 55-inch and 65-inch OLED TVs come with a 4K OLED TRILUMINOS Display with Precision Colour Mapping, Live Colour Technology and Pixel Contrast Booster. There’s an Acoustic Surface Audio+ feature that creates a rich sound experience from the two subwoofers and three actuators.

Sony has introduced the Bravia Master 4K A9FHDR Android TVs in 55-inch and 65-inch sizes in India, powered by the company’s X1 Ultimate picture with support for 4K video, HDR and Dolby Vision. The new Sony A9F 4K Android TV is available for a starting price of Rs 3,99,990 for the 55-inch variant.

The Bravia A9F from Sony has the ability to create 8 million self-illuminating pixels through its X1 Ultimate Picture processor which through Sony’s Object-based Super mechanism can detect and analyse every object in the frame for enhanced details. This combined with an Object-based HDR will be able to remaster the texture and depth of a particular object in the picture for a more realistic experience.

Both the 55-inch and 65-inch TVs come with a 4K OLED TRILUMINOS Display with Precision Colour Mapping, Live Colour Technology and Contrast Booster. There’s an Acoustic Surface Audio+ feature that creates a rich sound experience from the two subwoofers and three actuators. Sony has also introduced “Netflix Calibrated Mode” which can mirror the same studio-level clarity on the TV by extending the dynamic range of colour reproduction at high brightness levels.

The Sony A9F TV runs on Android TV which is precisely based on Android 8.0 Oreo. The TV supports handsfree commands from Google Assistant which will allow users to interact with the TV by asking them to play a certain TV show or movie, dim the lights and control the connected smart home devices.

The Sony Bravia Master 4K A9F is available in India for Rs 3,99,990 and Rs 5,59,990 for the 55-inch and 65-inch models respectively and will be available across all retail outlets from September 20.
