Realme has reportedly discontinued the base variant of its Realme 1 with 3GB in India. This comes after the company recently launched Realme 2 at a starting price of Rs 8,990.
Realme has quietly removed the Realme 1 3GB RAM with 32GB internal storage variant from the website as well as on Amazon India after the launch of Realme 2. The company has confirmed the Gadgets360 that the model has now been discontinued.
Realme 1 was launched in India in May this year at a starting Rs 8,990 for 3GB of RAM variant. The 4GB RAM with 64GB storage variant comes at Rs 10,990 while the 6GB RAM with 128GB storage variant comes with a price tag of Rs 13,990. Both these variants of Realme 1 are already available for sale on Amazon India.
Realme was a sub-brand from Oppo but recently the Realme separated from Oppo to be an independent brand. In the home country, China, both are now independent entities, and in India, Realme will be a standalone company by Septemeber this year.

Realme 2 has been launched in India in two variants – Rs 8,990 for the 3GB RAM with 32GB storage, and Rs 10,990 for the 4GB RAM with 64GB storage. The Realme 2 is exclusive to the online retailer Flipkart and will go on sale from September 4.
