Base Variant of Realme 1 launched for Rs 8,990

The Realme 1 smartphone features 6.0-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD display with a screen resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels and an 84.75 percent screen-to-body ratio. The smartphone is powered by 2.0GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6771 processor, which is none other than Helio P60. The phone features a 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 128GB via micro SD card slot.

Oppo has officially introduced its new sub-brand, Realme, for the Indian market. The new-age brand has today announced the launch of its first smartphone, Realme 1, in India. The phone comes with price tag of Rs 13,990 for the 6GB variant and it will exclusively available on Amazon. The first flash sale will begin from May 25. The phone comes in Diamond Black and Solar Red colour options. The company has introduced a 3GB of RAM and 32GB storage variant of the Realme 1 for Rs 8,990. The 4GB RAM variant comes with a price tag of Rs 10,990

The smartphone comes with a host of interesting features. It sports a glass fibre body at the back with the diamond-like finish. The company claims that the device feature 15 tangent planes carved on the back body, which gives different shades of black.

The smartphone comes loaded with a 13-megapixel rear camera with PDAF and bokeh effect. For the front, there will be an 8-megapixel shooter for selfies and video calling along with portrait mode. The front camera features and machine learning. The company claims the machine learning uses 296 recognition face points to get face information and automatically detect the skin tones, skin types, skin colours, age, gender, etc. The smartphone is backed by a 3410mAh battery and runs on 8.1 Oreo with ColorOS 5.0 running on top of it. AI-backed battery management system to prevent excessive drain.

Further, the Oppo Realme 1 will feature face unlock, though there is no fingerprint sensor. Further, on the connectivity front, the phone supports VoLTE, micro USB port, 4.2, FM Radio, WiFi, dedicated with microSD tray, and micro USB port.
