Bharti Airtel has finally rolled out its 4G services in Jammu and Kashmir. Currently, the services has been rolled out in 25 towns or locations that includes Jammu, Akhnoor, Nagrota, Kathua, Katra, Samba, Udhampur, Reasi, Rehambal, Bari Brahamana, Billawar, Ghomanhasan, Miran Sahib, Misriwala, Raipur Domana, Bashohli, Hiranagar, Rajauri, Sunderbani, Thanamandi, Jyotipuram, Talwara, Badlirakh, Garnai and Vaishno Devi. Further, the telecom operator plans to expand its 4G services to over 100 towns across Jammu and Kashmirusing FD-LTE technology in the 1800 MHz band.
With Airtel 4G, users in Jammu and Kashmir will now be able to enjoy high-speed internet at 3G tariffs. Current Airtel users who are currently on 3G can upgrade to a 4G SIM for free and subscribe to various available offers for both prepaid and postpaid users.
Meanwhile, Airtel also recently announced the death of domestic roaming from April 1st, 2017. Airtel customers will enjoy free incoming calls/SMS and there will be no premium on outgoing calls allowing them to speak freely wherever they are within the country. Also, there will be no additional data charges on national roaming. Home data packs for customers will apply even while they roam across India.
On the other hand, after delighting prepaid customers with its Rs 345 pack, the largest telecom operatorofIndia today announced Airtel Surprise Offer for postpaid customers. Airtel is giving 30GB of free data through its recently announced promotional offer named as Airtel Surprise. The free data will be provided for a period of three months, starting from March 13th. However, thecompany has put a monthly cap of 10GB, which means users will get 10GB of data for three months, making a grand total of 30GB. Users can claim this claim this offer from My Airtel app and can be claimed until March 31.
