Xiaomi today announced the Redmi K20 Pro and Redmi K20 smartphones in India. Alongside that, the company has launched two new accessories – the Mi Neckband Bluetooth Earphones and Mi 27W SonicCharge adapter for users in India. Recently, Xiaomi also announced the Mi Super Bass Wireless Headphone and Mi Rechargeable LED Lamp in the country.
Available for a price of Rs 1,599 on Mi.com from July 23, the Mi Neckband Bluetooth Earphones feature Dynamic bass output with tri-band equalisation and connectivity through Bluetooth 5.0 with support for HFP, A2DP, HSP and AVRCP Bluetooth protocols. The earphones come with an inbuilt microphone which can be used to activate voice assistants on phones to take calls, navigate and play music.
The Mi Neckband Bluetooth Earphones equip a 120mAh battery which offers playback of 8 hours on a single charge. On standby, the earphones will function for up to 260 hours and can be charged from zero to 100 percent in 2 hours. Designed with a micro-Arc sign and soft skin-friendly rubber, the Neckband earphones weigh in at 13.6 grams and measure 445x80x26mm and will be available in a single Black colour.
The Mi 27W SonicCharge Superfast charger can be purchased on Mi.com for a price of Rs 999. The charger is compatible with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 and can support 27W fast charging. This means that the SonicCharge adapter will be compatible with the Poco F1 and Redmi K20 Pro. The adapter is BIS certified and comes with 380V surge protection and 4 capacitance values for unstable voltage.
The Mi 27W SonicCharge charger equips 10-layer protection including protection against over-voltage, under-voltage, over-current, over-power, over-temperature, EMF, short circuit and as well as surge suppression and electrostatic protection. With a 100-240V AC input, the SonicCharge charger can be used anywhere across the globe with no geographical restrictions. The charger has an operating range of -10 to 50 degree Celsius, weighs 86.3 grams and measures 46.8 x 28 x 55.4mm.
