Vodafone rolls out Rs 599 prepaid plan with 180 days validity

The Rs 599 prepaid recharge plan from Vodafone sits rightly between the Rs 569 plan and the Rs 999 plan and thus offers a total validity of 180 days. The plan offers a total of 6GB of 4G/3G data, 1800 SMS and unlimited local, STD and roaming calls throughout the course of the pack’s validity.

Vodafone has been stressing over its prepaid plans for the past few weeks with the last update coming through the release of the Rs 299 prepaid plan earlier this week. The operator has now started rolling out a new plan for its prepaid customers which comes for a price of Rs 599 with a validity of six months.

The Rs 599 prepaid recharge plan from Vodafone sits rightly between the Rs 569 plan and the Rs 999 plan and thus offers a total validity of 180 days. The plan offers a total of 6GB of 4G/3G data instead of the 3GB daily data that’s available with the Rs 569 plan. The latest Vodafone plan offers 1800 SMS for during the course of the pack’s validity with unlimited local, STD and calls for 180 days.

Vodafone Rs 599 prepaid plan

Vodafone’s Rs 599 plan includes access to free Live TV, movies and shows through the Vodafone Play App. The latest prepaid move from the company comes as a means to match BSNL’s own Rs 599 prepaid plan which also offers a 180-day validity. However, BSNL’s offering doesn’t provide users with any data benefits while Vodafone’s Rs 599 plan does include some.

For more demanding users, Vodafone is offering a prepaid plan of Rs 999 with a validity of 365 days and 12GB of 3G/4G data for the whole validity period.

Earlier this month, Vodafone also introduced a Rs 229 prepaid plan with 2GB daily data for 28 days. Last month, the operator also started offering free doorstep deliveryof prepaid SIMs for future users in India. In order to avail this benefit, potential customers need to go to Vodafone’s official website and fill a form to get a new SIM right at their location.
