Realme is not working on a Smart TV and doesn’t have plans to enter TV segment this year, especially India, a source familiar with the development said to The Mobile Indian.

The source also confirmed that the brand does not have any plans to make the announcement about the Smart TV by the end of this year. Earlier, a report claimed that Realme is venturing into the Smart TV market and it will make an announcement by the end of this year.

Meanwhile, Realme is all set to launch a new smartphone known as Realme X2 Pro in India pretty soon. Realme CEO Madhav Sheth confirmed that Realme X2 Pro will be launched in India in the month of December. He further confirmed that the upcoming smartphone will be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ and it will come with 90Hz refresh rate screen.

The company has already confirmed key specs of the phone through various teasers. The phone will feature 50W SuperVOOC Flash charge. The 50W SuperVOOC fast charging technology is capable of charging an empty 3,700mAh battery in 35 minutes. Realme X2 Pro will come with a 90 Hz screen refresh rate which can be toggled between 60 Hz and 90 Hz. Realme has already confirmed that it will also launch the Realme XT 730G model in December as well.

As per the company, the Realme XT 730G will be equipped with 64-megapixel quad cameras and it will feature Hyperbola 3D Glass design. The smartphone will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G processor along with 4000mAh battery with 30W VOOC Flash charge support.
