Realme X2 Pro with 64MP camera to launch on October 15, India launch in December

Realme X2 Pro will come with a quad-camera setup on the back where the sensors are arranged vertically in the top-left corner.

UPDATE: Madhav Sheth has now confirmed via Twitter that Realme X2 Pro will be launching in India in December.

Realme has now announced that it will be launching the much in leaks Realme X2 Pro in Spain on October 15. The phone will also be launched in China the same day.

Realme Europe has revealed the launch date of Realme X2 Pro on its official Twitter handle. The launch event will take place at 10:00 am on October 15 in Madrid (1:30 pm IST) on that day.

The tweet carries a teaser as per which Realme X2 Pro will come with a quad-camera setup on the back where the are arranged vertically in the top-left corner. This time, Realme will adopt a slightly different design. Notably, this will be different from the company’s other quad-camera smartphones which have the camera setup placed on the top left corner.

The company has already confirmed key specs of the phone through various teasers. The phone will feature 50W SuperVOOC Flash charge. The 50W SuperVOOC fast charging technology is capable of charging an empty 3,700mAh battery in 35 minutes. Realme X2 Pro will come with a 90 Hz screen refresh rate which can be toggled between 60 Hz and 90 Hz.

Realme X2 Pro will feature a 64MP quad-camera setup at the back. Apart from featuring a 64MP high-resolution camera, the phone will feature 20X zoom telephoto shooter, an ultra-wide-angle 115° field of view and a for super close up shots. Also, it will be the first Realme smartphone to feature a telephoto lens and a 90Hz Fluid Display.

The Realme X2 Pro will be powered by2.96GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ along with up to 8 RAM. The handset might come with 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. It is expected to run 9 Pie OS coupled with ColorOS 6.1 user interface.
