Panasonic unveils new 4K Ultra HD TVs in India starting at Rs 50,400

Panasonic’s new 4K TVs are powered by the HCX processor for the optimised presentation of HDR colours and tones. The TVs support a suite of HDR formats including HDR 10, HDR 10+, Dolby Vision and HLG in picture quality. The TVs run on My Home 3.0 interface which allows users to design their TV home screen.

Panasonic has expanded its television catalogue with the launch of new 4K Ultra TVs in India under the GX600 and GS595 series. The new TV range includes 14 models ranging from 32-inch to 75-inch and will be available for a starting price of Rs 50,400. The new range of TVs come after the company announced the Panasonic GZ2000 Professional Edition 4K OLED TV earlier this year at the CES 2019 event in Las Vegas.

Panasonic’s new 4K TVs are powered by the HCX for the optimised presentation of HDR colours and tones. The TVs support a suite of HDR formats including HDR 10, HDR 10+, Dolby Vision and HLG in picture quality. The TVs are also equipped with Hexa Chroma Drive Pro to reproduce life-like colours using professional colour-processing technology.

Panasonic GS595 4K Ultra HD TVs

The Panasonic 2019 4K Ultra HD TVs run on My Home 3.0 interface which can be customised to enable viewers one-step access to their favourite content on a large screen. The feature allows users to design their TV home screen with their favourite apps, bookmarks on the web, Live TV content and frequently used devices.

The TV also supports integration with google assistant, Alexa and video content platforms such as Netflix and YouTube. The 4K Ultra HD TVs feature upward-firing speakers that deliver Dolby Atmos audio.

Panasonic GX600 4K Ultra HD TVs

The new range is designed to deliver Hollywood like picture quality with colour realism, contrast, brightness and cinematic sound. The new 4K range comes with a premium ‘Japanese’ design for enhancing the user’s home interiors.

Speaking about the launch, Panasonic India Business Head CE, Sharath Nair said “With a legacy of over 100 years, Panasonic has been enriching lives of customers through cutting technologies. The introduction of our new range of 4K TV’s is a step forward to inspire customers to immerse into the Panasonic World of technological supremacy and elevate their overall viewing experience. The new series comes with a myriad of premium features that ensure advanced picture quality. Last year, the 4K segment contributed significantly to our overall growth in the TV segment and with such advancements; we are looking at growing our market share substantially in the next three years”.

The new Panasonic 4K Ultra HD TVs will be available in sizes between 32-inch and 75-inch and will range from Rs 50,400 to Rs 2,76,900. The company is also offering the 55-inch FZ950 and 65-inch FZ1000 OLED TVs for Rs 2,99,900 and Rs 4,49,900 respectively.
