OnePlus has started rolling out a new beta update to its OnePlus 6 and OnePlus 6T. The company has rolled out OxygenOS Open Beta 24 for the OnePlus 6 and OxygenOS Open Beta 16 for the OnePlus 6T.
The latest beta update brings the latest August security patch along with general bug fixes and stability improvements. The update also optimises and make the screenshot process smoother and faster. It also optimises visual effects Zen Mode and added an additional setting to select the duration of time.
It is important to note that this is a beta build and not a stable version. Thus, users should back up all the data before installing the latest beta build. Users who have already flashed an Open Beta will receive this new build as an OTA. Here is the complete changelog:

Previously, the company rolled out OxygenOS Open Beta 15 and the OnePlus 6 has received OxygenOS Open Beta 23.
The update brings in the most expected DC Dimming which enables the phone’s screen to not flicker at low brightness settings. The DC Dimming feature uses DC voltage to control the light output of the LED. DC Dimming debuted on theOnePlus 7 Pro and was later added to theOnePlus 7 in an update.
The update also brings new features to Screen Recorder and Weather, some general bug fixes and stability improvements. The latest OxygenOS beta update for the OnePlus 6 and 6T is about 275GB also includes the latest Android security patch for July 2019.
