OnePlus 7 Pro gets its first software update, brings DC Dimming feature and more

The update comes with version number OxygenOS 9.5.2.GM21BA and it is around 495MB in size.

OnePlus just yesterday introduced its next flagship devices, the OnePlus 7 Pro and OnePlus 7. Now, the company has started rolling out the first update for the OnePlus 7 Pro that brings lots of new features along with the latest security patch.

The update comes with version number OxygenOS 9.5.2.GM21BA and it is around 495MB in size. Folks at 9to5Google were the first to report about rolling out the new update. With this, the company has rolled out the DC dimming feature, which can be accessed by going to Settings > Utilities > OnePlus Laboratory. The update also fixes general bugs and improves device performance. Furthermore, it also adds the latest April security patch to the OnePlus 7 Pro.

OnePlus 7 Pro

The update improves the Gaming Mode and adds haptic feedback. The setting can be accessed by going to Settings > Utilities > Gaming Mode. It also adds Fnatic Mode, which the company introduced during its launch event. Apart from this, the new update also brings Digital Wellbeing to the OnePlus 7 Pro and the company has introduced Wind Down and Grayscale feature. Lastly, the update optimises the photo quality. In order to check for the latest update, one can simply go to Settings > System > System Updates.

The OnePlus 7 Pro comes with a price tag of Rs 48,999 for the 6GB of and 128GB of internal storage, Rs 52,999 for the 8GB RAM + 256GB, and Rs 57,999 for the 12GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The phone will be available for purchase from May 17.
