In the aftermath of Reliance Jio announcing its Jio Fibre rollout on September 5, state-run operator BSNL is now launching its own bundled plan with broadband and mobile benefits. The operator is now hosting a dedicated webpage on its portal for its “BBG Combo ULD Family 1199” plan.
The BBG Combo ULD Family 1199 plan as it is named will be available for a monthly rental of Rs 1,199 and will offer unlimited data but comes with a monthly data cap of 30GB with speeds of up to 10 Mbps. Beyond the 30GB limit, the download speeds will be reduced to 2 Mbps.

The Rs 1,199 BSNL Combo plan additionally bundles three mobile connections, all of which will be enabled with free unlimited voice calling to any network. The three SIMs will also be provided with 1GB of daily data each, post which users will be able to access data at lower speeds of 40kbps.
The state-run operator is also offering Personalised Ringback Tone (PRBT) facility on all three SIMs. Additionally, one of the three SIMs can also be activated with access to free online TV and one-month free subscription of online Education to any single Subject for the Students up to Class-XII.
BSNL’s BBG Combo ULD Family 1199 plan is currently available across all circles in India except for Gujarat and Andaman and Nicobar.
Previously, the state-run operator revised its long-term prepaid plan of Rs 1,699 with 455 days of validity, 2GB data per day, unlimited local, STD and roaming calling and 100 SMS daily. The company recently stripped truly unlimited calls from its prepaid plans bringing a daily capping on calls.
