After Airtel recently launching a Rs 93 prepaid plan, now Idea Cellular has also announced a Rs 93 pack for prepaid users.
Under this new Rs 93 pack, Idea is offering its customers 1GB 4G/3G/2GB data and unlimited local/STD calls and incoming Roaming calls. However, there is no roaming outgoing in this recharge plan. The new pack carries a validity of 10 days.
However, there is a cap on the free calls. Users will get only 250 minutes per day and 1,000 minutes a week and one cannot call more than 100 unique users in a week. Once the limit is exhausted, then users need to pay 1 paisa per second for calls.
The new Rs 93 data pack will be directly competing with Airtel’s Rs 93 pack and Reliance Jio’s Rs 98 pack.
Airtel pack offers 1GB 4G/3G data, unlimited local/STD calls, incoming roaming calls and 100 SMS/day which is valid for 10 days.
Jio pack which offers 150MB per day (2.1GB data for 14 days) of data along with unlimited local/STD calling with a validity of 14 days. You also get free 140SMS with this pack.

Recently, Idea Cellular has revised its existing Rs 309 plan to provide more data benefits to its prepaid users. Now under the revised plan, users will get 1.5GB of 4G data, which is an upgrade to the 1GB data offered previously. However, this newly revised plan been updated in few circles like Gujarat, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh circles.
