Idea launches Rs 392 prepaid pack with 1.4GB data per day, revises Rs 399 pack

The new Rs 392 pack comes with a validity of 60 days and it offers unlimited voice calls with a cap, 100 SMS per day and 1.4GB data per day.

Idea Cellular has announced a new prepaid pack of Rs 392. Alongside, the telco has also revised its Rs 399 prepaid recharge.

The new Rs 392 pack comes with a validity of 60 days and it offers unlimited voice calls with a cap, 100 per day and 1.4GB data per day. So in total, the customers will get 82GB data for the whole validity period. The voice calls are capped to 250 minutes per day and 1000 minutes per week. In addition, users can only make voice calls to 100 unique numbers during the validity period of 82 days. This new Idea Cellular pack was first reported by Telecom Talk.

Idea has also revised its of Rs 399. The plan now offers unlimited voice calling, 100 SMS per day and 1GB data per day for 84 days. Earlier the same plan used to offer data benefit of 1.4GB per day. It is an open market plan and now provides 84GB of data. The Rs 399 prepaid plan also caps the voice calls to 250 minutes per day and 1000 minutes per week.

This development comes recently Bharti Airtel and Vodafone also revised their prepaid plans of Rs 399 which both come with a validity period of 84 days. Both the telcos are now providing 1GB data per day, unlimited voice calling and 100 SMS per day with the plans. Like Idea, Vodafone has also capped its voice calls to 250 minutes per day and 1000 minutes per week. On the other hand, Airtel does not have any such restriction.

Recently, Idea launched a new plan of Rs 189 for its prepaid customers with a validity of 56 days. The plan offers 2GB of 2G/ 3G/ data and unlimited voice calls with a daily limit of 250 minutes and weekly limit of 1,000 minutes. After exhausting the daily limit, the users will be charged at from their balance.
