Idea Cellular has revised its Rs 149 pack which now offers 28GB of data with a daily FUP (Fair Usage Policy) limit of 1GB data per day.
As per a report of TelecomTalk, the plan is valid for the Himachal Pradesh circle. Apart from this, the pack offers the benefits of unlimited voice calls and it comes with a validity of 28 days. However, the unlimited calls do come with some restrictions as one only call 250 minutes per day and 1000 minutes per week.
Alongside revising this Rs 149 pack, Idea has also revised it Rs 109 pack. Under this Rs 109 pack, Idea is offering its customers 1GB 4G/3G/2GB data and unlimited local/STD calls and incoming Roaming calls with a validity of 28 days. However, as per the report, this pack is also valid for the Himachal Pradesh circle as against a validity of this pack of 14 days in other circles.
Like Rs 149 pack, on Rs 109 pack, there is a cap on the free calls. Users will get only 250 minutes per day and 1,000 minutes a week and one cannot call more than 100 unique users in a week. Once the limit is exhausted, then users need to pay 1 paisa per second for calls.

With Rs 109 pack, Idea is competing with Airtel Rs 93 plan and Reliance Jio Rs 98 plan. Bharti Airtel has recently revised its Rs 93 prepaid pack. Airtel plan comes with 1GB 4G/3G data, unlimited local/STD calls, incoming roaming calls and 100 SMS/day with a validity of 28 days.
Reliance Jio also recently revised its Rs 98 plan by extending the validity. The Jio Rs 98 pack offers 2GB 3G/4G data, unlimited calling and 300 SMSes for 28 days.
