Airtel revises Rs 93 pack, now offers 1GB data, unlimited calling for 28 days

With this, Airtel is once again challenging Reliance Jio Rs 98 pack.

Bharti Airtel has revised its Rs 93 prepaid pack. The plan now offers extended validity period.

Earlier the same pack used to offer its customers 1GB 4G/3G data, unlimited local/STD calls, incoming calls and 100 SMS/day with a validity of 10 days. Now the validity has been increased to 28 days. Airtel launched a Rs 93 prepaid plan in December last year.

As per Telecomtalk report, Airtel’s new revised pack of Rs 93 plan will be available for most users in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, and also for select subscribers in Delhi, Mumbai and some other circles. For users outside these circles, the validity of the pack will for now continue to be 10 days.

With this, Airtel is once again challenging Reliance Jio. The company recently revised its Rs 98 plan by extending the validity. The Jio Rs 98 pack offers 2GB 3G/4G data, unlimited calling and 300 SMSes for 28 days. The major difference between Jio and Airtel packs is that Jio is offering more data, while the Airtel offers more SMSes. Jio’s Rs 98 tariff plan offers 300 SMS for 28 days, while Airtel offers 100 SMS per day thereby offering 2800 SMS for 28 days.

Bharti Airtel has also recently revised its Infinity postpaid plans. With this, the plans now offer more data along with some interesting offers. To start with Rs 399, it now offers 20GB of data, as opposed to 10GB of data. Further, the unused data will be rolled over to next month as well. Apart from this, the pack offers unlimited local and STD calls. Further, it offers unlimited incoming roaming calls, but roaming outgoing calls will be chargeable. Additionally, the plan offers Wynk Music subscriptions.

Coming to Rs 499 plan, it now offers 40GB of data. The plan previously offered 20GB of 4G/3G data. Further, the plan offers unlimited voice calls on local and STD networks along with unlimited incoming and outgoing on national roaming. Apart from this, the plan offers Wynk Music subscription along with Airtel TV and Handset Damage Protection. Additionally, the plan offers one year of Amazon Prime subscription.

Moving on, Rs 799 and Rs 1,199 plans now offers 60GB and 90GB of 4G data respectively. The plans previously offered 40GB and 75GB of data respectively. Interestingly, Rs 799 offers one free add-on connection, while the Rs 1,199 plan offers two free add-on connections with free local calls.
