After launching Honor Band 5 in China in July this year, Huawei’s sub-brand, Honor has now finally launched its Honor Band 5 bearing AMOLED colour display in India as well. The Band 5 is priced at Rs 2599 and is available for purchase exclusively through Flipkart. The Band 5 comes in three different colours- available in Meteorite Black, Midnight Navy, and Coral Pink.
The company started teasing the device a couple of days back through various online channels to create the hype.
The Honor Band 5 comes with 0.95-inch AMOLED (240 x 120 Pixels) colour display with 282 PPI and 2.5D glass on top. The device can track 10 different fitness activities like Daily Step Count, Distance Covered, Calorie Burned, Automatic Exercise Recognition and more. It has a 24×7 heart rate monitoring sensor, sleep monitor with the ability to detect six different types of sleeping problems. Other Sensors include 6-axis Accelerometer, Infrared Wear and Gyroscope.
The Honor band is waterproof up to 50 meters. The fitness tracker is compatible with devices running Android and iOS. The device is capable of delivering 14 days of battery life in normal usage condition. It has a blood oxygen level sensor which can measure your blood SpO2 levels, indicating the level of oxygen in your blood. The Band 5 is made up of Silicone material and weighs 22.7 grams.
