Honor Band 5 to launch soon in India, will be Flipkart exclusive

The Honor Band 5 fitness band will be exclusively available on Flipkart.

Huawei’s sub-brand Honor is all set to launch its new fitness band in India. Dubbed as Honor Band 5, the fitness band will be exclusively available on Flipkart.

The company has confirmed that it is partnering with Flipkart to launch its upcoming Honor 5 Band 5 in India through the e-commerce portal. Flipkart has posted a teaser page, which reveals Notify Me option for the upcoming fitness band.

To recall, the company introduced the Honor Band 5 in China in July this year. The Honor Band 5 is priced at 189 Yuan (approx. Rs 1900) for the standard version and goes up to 219 Yuan (approx. Rs 2193) for the NFC version. It will be available in Meteorite Black, Midnight Blue, and Coral Powder colour variants.

The Honor Band 5 features a 0.95-inch AMOLED colour display with 282 PPI and 2.5D glass on top. It is capable of tracking 10 different fitness activities like running, cycling, swimming, and more. It has a 24 x 7 heart rate monitoring sensor, sleep monitor with the ability to detect six different types of sleeping problems.

The Honor band is waterproof up to 50 meters. The fitness tracker is compatible with devices running Android and iOS. The device is capable of delivering 14 days of normal usage. It has a blood oxygen level sensor which can measure your blood SpO2 levels, indicating the level of oxygen in your blood.

Meanwhile, Honor introduced new Phantom Red colour variant for its latest Honor 20i smartphone in India. The new Phantom Red variant of the Honor 20i in India for the same price of Rs 14,999. The device can be purchased through Flipkart and Honor Online store.
