Alongside the launch of Honor 9X and 9X Pro smartphones, the company also introduced the Honor MagicBook Pro notebook and Honor Band 5. The Honor MagicBook Pro is priced at 5499 Yuan (approx. Rs 55,100 approx.) for the Core i5, 8GB RAM and 512GB storage variant.
The Core i7, 8GB RAM and 512GB storage version is priced 6199 Yuan (approx. Rs 62,125 approx.) while the Core i7, 16GB RAM and 1TB storage version is priced at 7999 Yuan (Rs 80,170 approx.). It comes in Glacial Silver colour.
The Honor Band 5 is priced at 189 Yuan (approx. Rs 1900) for the standard version and goes up to 219 Yuan (approx. Rs 2193) for the NFC version. It will be available in Meteorite Black, Midnight Blue, and Coral Powder colour variants.
The Honor MagicBook Pro features a 16.1-inch Full HD display with 1920 x 1080 pixels Resolution 16:9 aspect ratio, and 90 percent screen ratio. It is powered by an 8th generation Core i5/i7 processors with 8GB RAM and up to 512GB SSD. It also has a 2GB NVIDIA GeForce MX250 graphics.
Honor claims that the 57 watt-hour battery on the MagicBook Pro will be able to last up to 14hours of local video playback. Software-wise, the Honor MagicBook Pro boots 64-bit Windows 10 Home. The Honor MagicBook Pro has a fingerprint sensor that’s placed under the power button.
The connectivity features of the notebook include Dual-Band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, three USB 3.0 ports, one HDMI port and a USB Type-C port. It also comes with a 3.5mm audio jack, microphone combo, Dolby Atmos. The dimensions are 369mm X 234mm X16.9mm and it weighs 1.7kg.
The Honor Band 5 features a 0.95-inch AMOLED color display with 282 PPI and 2.5D glass on top. It is capable of tracking 10 different fitness activities like running, cycling, swimming, and more. It has a 24 x 7 heart rate monitoring sensor, sleep monitor with the ability to detect six different types of sleeping problems.
The Honor band is waterproof up to 50 meters. The fitness tracker is compatible with devices running Android and iOS. The device is capable of delivering 14 days of normal usage. It has blood oxygen level sensor which can measure your blood SpO2 levels, indicating the level of oxygen in your blood.
