BSNL reintroduces Rs 777 broadband plan with 500GB data

The Rs 777 broadband plan will be valid for six months.

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has re-introduced its plan of Rs 777 for its customers. BSNL Rs 777 is the same plan that was launched in September with 500GB data benefit.

Under this plan, customers will get 500GB of monthly data at a speed of up to 50Mbps and once the limit is finished, one can still surf the net with a reduced speed of 2Mbps.

Furthermore, the plan offers free unlimited calls to all networks anywhere in India. However, there is a catch. The Rs 777 broadband plan is only available for new BSNL broadband users, reports TelecomTalk.

The Rs 777 broadband plan will be valid for six months. Once the subscription period expires, subscribers will be shifted to BSNL’s 600GB CUL plan which costs Rs 999 per month.

BSNL recently announced a new long-term prepaid plan of Rs 999. The plan is a voice-only plan, meaning that users will not get any data benefits. Furthermore, there are no benefits as well. It offers unlimited voice calls, though there is a daily capping of 250 minutes per day. Interestingly, users can call on any network including Mumbai and Delhi circles. It also offers free two months of PRBT benefit.
