BSNL offers free broadband service to its landline users

The state-owned operator is also offering a host of benefits to all its existing Landline customers.

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has announced that it will be offering free broadband service to all its landline subscribers in India. The state-owned operator is also offering a host of benefits to all its existing customers.

In order to avail this benefit, BSNL landline users need to call on the company’s toll-free helpline number from their registered mobile or landline number. Interestingly, the operator has also waived off the installation charges, which makes sweet deal for its customers.

The operator is also offering 5GB of data to its customers along with speeds up to 10Mbps. The company is also offering 25 percent cashback on its annual plans. The scheme was meant to expire on December 31, 2018, however, BSNL has extended it by three months. Similarly, customers can also avail subscription of Amazon Prime at no additional cost.

Previously, BSNL has revised all of its FTTH Broadband plans to offer daily data offerings instead of a monthly data limit. It will be effective to all BSNL FTTH plans which amount to seven at the time of writing and offers as minimum as 18GB data per day for one month. The six existing plans ofBSNL FTTH broadband namely the BSNL Fibro Combo ULD 777, BSNL Fibro Combo ULD 1277, BSNL Fibro Combo ULD 3999, BSNL Fibro Combo ULD 5999, BSNL Fibro Combo ULD 9999 and BSNL Fibro Combo ULD 16999 have all been revised with daily data limits.
