The State-run telecom operator Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) introduced the Bumper Offer in September last year, in which the customers were getting an additional 2.2GB of data per day on top of their daily data allowance. The company extended the offer earlier this year, and now BSNL has again extended the Bumper Offer to October.
BSNL earlier extended the Bumper offer in February and May this year. Now company has yet again stretched the same till October 1. However, BSNL has extended the offer to Chennai circle only. There’s no information on whether BSNL is planning to extend this to other circles in the country.
BSNL Rs 429 and Rs 186 prepaid plans users will get the additional data over and above 1GB of data per day which their plan was entitled. This means users will get 3.21GB of daily data. Similarly, Rs 484 and Rs 666 packs users who get 1.5GB per day data will a total of 3.7GB daily data. The Rs 1,699 plan now offers 4.2GB data per day. The other plans in the list are STV 187, STV 349, STV 399 and STV 447. They now ship with 3.2GB each day instead of just 1GB data.
Meanwhile, in a related story, BSNL recently launched a preloaded Yatra SIM connection specifically for Amarnath Pilgrims. The preloaded SIM is priced at Rs 230, which includes the cost of STV and the dedicated plan voucher. In this, customers can avail 20,000 seconds (333.33 minutes) of Talk time and 1.5GB of data usage along with 10 days of validity.
