Taiwanese giant Asus has unveiled the VivoBook 15 X510 in India, a Windows 10 notebook equipped with Intel’s Octane Memory technology, the latest NVIDIA graphics and one-touch access via a fingerprint sensor. The VivoBook X510 is available at Asus exclusive stores and other retail outlets across the country for an asking price of Rs 45,990.
The VivoBook X510 features a 15.6-inch NanoEdge Full HD display with thin bezels amounting to 7.8mm, thus offering a screen-to-body ratio of 80 percent on a portable laptop. The screen supports 178-degree Wide-Angle viewing with a thin form factor that has a thickness of 19.4mm along the edges.
The device is powered by an Intel Core i5 Chipset with 4GB RAM and 1TB HDD storage in addition to the 16GB Intel Octane memory that enhances the speed of multitasking with smoother and seamless load levels for better performance. The VivoBook employs NVIDIA’s GeForce MX130 graphics for daily computing and entertainment.
Weighing in at 1.7 kgs, the VivoBook X510 comes with Asus’ SuperBattery technology that provides 3X longer lifespan than the standard lithium-ion cylinder batteries. The device offers a battery life of 8 hours on a single charge which can be quickly charged to up to 60 percent within 49 minutes.
