India’s leading mobile payments solution Paytm has announced that it’s partnering with Asus to release the Vivobook X507, the first in line to be exclusively made available through its Paytm mall. The ultrabook is up for sale for a launch offer of Rs 21,990 with a Rs 2,000 Paytm cashback. Besides the product release, Paytm Mall is also installing its own PoS solutions and experience zone at Asus retails stores across the country.
As for the device in question, the Asus Vivobook X507 will feature a 15.6-inch FHD display with minimal bezels, thus making the laptop smaller than other 15.6-inch notebooks. The X507 comes powered by a range of CPU options to up to Intel Core i3 with up to 8GB of DDR4 RAM and 1TB of onboard storage.
The Vivobook will be equipped with an option to expand storage by another 256GB through its SSD slot. The device adorns an NVIDIA GeForce MX110 GPU for graphics-intensive games and applications. Additional features include Fast charging that boosts up the 33 watt-hour battery to up to 60 recent within 49 minutes and makes it last for longer using Asus’ SuperBattery Technology.
In terms of connectivity, the Asus X507 sports two standard USB 2.0 ports, one HDMI port, 3.5mm audio jack, micro SD card reader, WiFi and Bluetooth v4.2. Asus has packed in an inbuilt fingerprint scanner on the Vivobook for easier login through Windows Hello.
The Asus Vivobook X507 is available exclusively on Paytm Mall for a starting price of Rs 21,990 with cashback benefits of up to Rs 2,000 on every purchase.
Asus seems to have found the right triggers to everything having previously partnered with Flipkart for its smartphones. With the latest announcement, Asus seems to have found a new home for its laptops as well on the Paytm Mall platform. Paytm Mall is also debuting its digital experience zones which will allow users to check various Asus products, and order them through digital screens at Asus retail stores.
