A month after launching a new Rs 299 prepaid plan with unlimited calling for 70 days, Vodafone has now upgraded its Rs 129 prepaid plan with more data than what was provided when the plan was initially launched earlier this year.
With the latest change, the Rs 129 recharge will offer Vodafone prepaid users with 2GB of 2G/3G/4G data for a duration of 28 days. Previously, the same plan provided users with a total of 1.5GB data for the course of the validity period; users will thus get 500MB more for the same recharge pack.
The Rs 129 prepaid plan also offers unlimited local, STD and roaming calls but only comes with 300 SMS for 28 days, instead of 100 SMS per day for the same duration. The plan can benefit those who use a certain phone number only for voice calling purposes with minimum data usage.
Vodafone’s latest Rs 129 plan revision comes just two months after Airtel revised its Rs 129 prepaid plan with 2GB of data, unlimited voice calls (local+STD), unlimited incoming roaming calls and 100 SMS per day for 28 days.
Prior to this, Vodafone started rolling out a new Rs 599 plan for its prepaid customers offering minimum data and unlimited calling but for a longer duration. The plan offers a total of 6GB of 4G/3G data, 1800 SMS and unlimited local, STD and roaming calls for 180 days. Similarly, the operator is also offering a prepaid plan of Rs 999 with a validity of 365 days and 12GB of 3G/4G data for the whole validity period.
