Vodafone offers unlimited calls, 1GB data per day with Rs 158 prepaid plan

Under this pack, Vodafone users will get unlimited local and STD voice calls along with free national roaming calls.

Vodafone India has announced a new of Rs 158 to give a competition to the likes of Airtel, Reliance Jio and Idea Cellular. The new pack is available for Vodafone subscribers in Kerala and it comes loaded with some interesting features.

Under the Rs 158 prepaid plan, Vodafone users will get unlimited local and STD voice calls along with free national calls, reports TelecomTalk. However, there is a daily cap of 250 minutes per day and 1000 minutes per week. Further, users will get 1GB of 4G data per day and it is valid for 28 days, thus making a grand total of 28GB of data per month. Sadly, unlike other telecom operator plans, this one does not come with free SMSes.

Along with this, the brand has also introduced Rs 151 plan in some circles of Kerala, which offers above-mentioned benefits. It is important to note that both the packs are meant for Kerala circle and there is no information whether the packs will be available in other circles or not.

The pack is in direct competition with Airtel’s Rs 149 plan, though the plan from Airtel is a bit cheaper than Vodafone. The company is now offering 1GB of 4G data per day as against 1GB of data for 28 days earlier.

Users will get 28GB of 4G data which can be consumed in 28 days. Apart from this, consumers will get unlimited local and STD calls along with 100 SMSes. However, Airtel has put a daily cap of 250 minutes and a weekly cap of 1000 minutes. Additionally, outgoing and incoming is free on national roaming.

Reliance Jio, on the other hand, has recently slashed the price of Rs 199 and itis now available at a price of Rs 149. Under this offer, Jio users get1.5 GB of 4G data per day with a validity of 28 days, making a grand total of 42GB of 4G data.
