Vodafone now offering 4G SIMs for Haryana

Vodafone will launch commercial 4G services in Haryana soon.

Vodafone is now offering SIMs in Haryana through Vodafone Stores, Vodafone Mini Stores and 4000+ multi brand outlets. All Vodafone customers in Haryana can get a 4G ready in exchange of their existing SIM for their 4G enabled handset, free of cost. However, the commercial services on 4G are not there in Haryana right now and will be be launched soon. Users can enjoy benefits of high speed 4G services as soon as they are launched commercially in Haryana.

To switch to 4G ready sim, you have to walk to any nearby Vodafone Store, Vodafone Mini Store or multi brand outlet and place your request for 4G ready SIM. To activate the 4G SIM card on the phone, you have to ‘SIMEX ‘ to 55199 (this number will be available on the new SIM card/jacket given to you). You will then receive a response SMS from 55199 with partial SIM number entered. You have to send the last 6 digits of the new SIM number to 55199 within 2 hours of receiving the SMS. You will receive a success SMS, post which your 4G ready SIM will be activated within 5-10 minutes. In case users face any problem with the SIM upgrade process, they can call 199 or seek assistance from any Vodafone retail store.

Hence, this facility to upgrade to 4G ready SIMs in advance. We are excited and fully geared up to launch our 4G services on the superior 1800 in Haryana very soon.”

Vodafone has earlier rolled out 4G services in Kerala, Kolkata, Karnataka, Delhi & Mumbai. States like Gujarat, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh (East), West Bengal (ROB) will get 4G services by August 2016.
