Vodafone India has today announced that it has launched its Voice Over LTE (VoLTE) services in Haryana. The brand has rolled out its VoLTE services in Panipat, Sonipat, Yamunagar, Ambala and Rohtak.
However, the brand has not revealed when other cities will receive the VoLTE services in Haryana. Vodafone customers will now be able to make calls using VoLTE and enjoy HD quality voice. Vodafone SuperNet 4G customers can access Vodafone VoLTE for no additional charges and all calls will be billed as per existing plan or pack benefits.
With this, Vodafone is now offering VoLTE services in Rajasthan, Mumbai, Delhi, Gujarat, Maharashtra and Goa. The brand will extend these services across the country in a phased manner over the next few months.
For the unintended, VoLTE services work on the 4G networks speed, which will provide HD quality of voice calls and faster call setup to customers. In case of non-availability of 4G network coverage, VoLTE calls will automatically fall back on the 3G/2G network, so that the customers continue to stay connected.
The brand has also revealed a list of smartphones that works seamlessly with Vodafone’s VoLTE services. The list includes OnePlus 3, 5 and 5T; Xiaomi Redmi 4, Mi Mix 2, Mi Max 2; Nokia 5 and Nokia 8; Honor View 10, 9i, 7X and 8 Pro; Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro and Galaxy J7 Nxt.
Announcing the launch of the Vodafone VoLTE service, Mohit Narru, Business Head - Haryana, Vodafone India, said, “We are delighted to inform that Vodafone is the first GSM operator to launch VoLTE services in Haryana beginning with Panipat, Sonipat, Ambala, Yamunanagar & Rohtak and these services will soon be extended to other key cities.
