Vodafone Idea has announced that it will offer freebies to all its prepaid customers in India. The telecom operator has revealed that it will offer freebies like unlimited calls, cashback, extra data, caller tune on every recharge for all its prepaid users.
For Idea customers, the offer is named as ‘Har Recharge Pe Extra’, while for Vodafone customers it is named as ‘Har Recharge pe Inaam’. Under the said offer, every time a Vodafone or Idea customers makes a recharge, the customer will get an SMS revert with a call to action. Interesting thing here is that users will get the freebies regardless of the value of recharge.
Customer needs to dial the USSD string *999# or go to My Vodafone or My Idea App to choose from an array of freebies and select the preferred offer. Once the offer is selected and consent is given by the customer, the freebie will be added to the number. The offer is valid across the country and will be available for all Vodafone Idea customers until First week of September 2019.
Speaking about the offer, Avneesh Khosla, Operations Director – Marketing, Vodafone Idea Ltd, said, “This is one of the biggest promotional offers this season. By giving 100% assured gifts, we are not only offering a huge incentive to recharge and avail benefits, but also rewarding and delighting each and every prepaid customer who stays connected on the Vodafone Idea network across the country.”
Previously, Vodafone has revised its prepaid plan of Rs 255. The plan now comes with more data benefits for a validity of 28 days. The Vodafone Rs 255 prepaid plan earlier used to offer 2GB per day. Now the same plan offers 2.5GB of data per day apart from unlimited voice calls and 100 SMS messages per day. The users now get 500MB 4G/ 3G data more on a daily basis, i.e a total of 70GB data throughout the entire 28 days validity.
