After Airtel rolling out extra Mobile Data for their existing recharge plans, Vodafone Idea is also following the same. Vodafone and Idea is now offering its subscribers 400MB of additional data on top of their daily data allowance on select prepaid plans.
A report by Telecom Talk reveals that under this offer, users will get extra 400MB data per day on the existing data benefits. However, the data can only be availed if the recharge is done via mobile app. through mobile App only. Vodafone customers will have to recharge through My Vodafone app to avail the extra data benefit, while Idea users can recharge through My Idea-Recharge and Payments application to get the additional data benefit.
The Rs 399 prepaid plan comes with 1GB data per day and with the extra benefit, users will get 1.4GB data per day. Similarly, the Rs 449 plan offers 2GB of data per day and users will now get 2.4GB data benefit per day. Vodafine is offering extra 400MB daily data on its prepaid recharge of Rs 399, while Idea is offering extra data on both Rs 399 and Rs 499 prepaid plans.
To recall, Airtel started offering extra data on select prepaid plans since May. The company is offering the benefit on Rs 399, Rs 448 and Rs 499 prepaid plan. The Rs 399 prepaid plan comes with 1GB data per day and with the extra benefit, users will get 1.4GB data per day and the pack offers a validity of 84 days. Similarly, the Rs 448 plan offers 15GB of data per day and users will now get 1.9GB data benefit per day. The plan comes with a validity of 82 days. Lastly, the Rs 499 plan offers 2GB of data per day and it comes with a validity of 84 days. With this, users will not get 2.4GB data per day with the latest benefit.
Meanwhile, Vodafone recently revised its Rs 139 prepaid plan. The Rs 139 prepaid recharge from Vodafone earlier used to offer 5GB data for 28 days. Now after revision, the plan is offering 3GB data for the same validity period. This means that the users will now get reduced data benefits. Apart from 3GB data, the Vodafone Rs 139 plan also offers unlimited local, STD, and Roaming calls, and 300 SMS messages for a validity of 28 days.
