Vodafone Idea has today announced the discontinuation of blackout days on 31st December 2018 and all other such special days of the year 2019, for both Vodafone and Idea customers.
In a press statement, the company has said that over 422 million Vodafone Idea customers will now be able to continue availing special SMS benefits, as per their packs, all 365 days a year with no exception of blackout days.
To delight customers, Vodafone Idea kicked in the elimination of special SMS charges on Christmas Day of the current year. This has been done keeping in mind customers who prefer to use SMS as a Messaging service, and feature phone users who wish to connect with their loved ones on special occasions.
Vodafone Idea customers can now text on special days such as New Year’s Eve, 1st January, and other special days, without worrying about full rate charging.
Vodafone Idea offers multiple SMS packs starting as low as Rs 12 giving discounted SMS rates.
Recently, Vodafone Idea started offering free Amazon Pay gift card to is prepaid users on select prepaid plans. The telecom operator is offering this benefit as a part of Vodafone Idea New Year Offer. The prepaid users will get free Rs 30 Amazon Pay Gift Card and the offer is a limited period one. It is valid until January 10, 2019.
