Vodafone has today announced a new pack for its prepaid customers known as SuperNight recharge. Priced at Rs 29, the pack offers unlimited 4G/3G data usage for five hours without any FUP (Fair Usage Policy) limit.
Users can recharge the pack at any time of the day, however, it will only come into effect only from 1 AM to 6 AM. This translate to Rs 6 per hour for unlimited data, which is a welcome move. Further, in order to avail this pack, users need to dial *444*4# to activate and one can buy this pack from MyVodafone app, retail Vodafone stores and from company’s official website. However, the price of the pack may vary from circle to circle.
Previously, the brand introduced two plans namely Vodafone SuperDay and Vodafone SuperWeek, which provide unlimited voice calls and data benefits starting from Rs 19.
Starting with Vodafone Superday, customers can make unlimited local and STD calls on the Vodafone network, and users will get 100 MB data (on 4G handsets only) at just Rs 19 per day. Further, with Vodafone Superweek, users can avail unlimited local and STD calls on Vodafone network along with 250 MB data (on 4G handsets only) at a nominal price of Rs. 49 for a week. Other than these benefits, Vodafone SuperWeek at Rs. 89, additionally offers talk-time benefits of 100 minutes to other networks.
It is important to note here is that data benefits are only applicable for 4G handsets, and if you have a non-4G device, then you will only get 50MB of free data. Further, both the packs come with an option of unlimited repeat purchases of these integrated packs. Lastly, the price of the pack might vary from circle to circle.
The new packs can be seen as a countermeasure against Reliance Jio latest tariff plans which start from Rs 19 as well. Reliance Jio is offering 200MB of 4G data along with free Local+STD calls and SMS for 1 day with a recharge of Rs 19. However, if you are a non-prime member, you will get 100MB of data.
