Uninor launches nine new brand stores in AP

Operator has launched nine new branded franchisee express stores across nine smaller towns in AP.

Uninor has launched franchise express outlets across nine district headquarters of Andhra Pradesh. These outlets will provide offers and services such as cards, recharge coupons, handsets, accessories, SIM replacements and caller tune activations for its customers.
Speaking on the launch of these special outlets, Satish Kumar Kannan, business head — AP Circle, Uninor said, “The idea of launching these compact Uninor retail stores is to reach out to customers across large and small towns of the state.”
These branded stores will serve as a one stop service point for existing and prospective Uninor customers across towns with population of 50,000 to 1.5 lakhs.
The nine stores have been launched in Kamareddy, Armor, Kazipet, Guntakal, Yemiganur, Hindupur, Sircilla, Sidhipet and Jagtiyal districts of the state.
Uninor is the brand name for Unitech Wireless – the joint venture company of real estate major Unitech and the Norway based world’s 6th largest mobile services provider Telenor Group.
At present, Uninor services are available in 13 circles – UP (West), UP (East), Bihar, Orissa, Kolkata, West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Mumbai, Maharashtra and Gujarat.
