Tata DoCoMo has introduced a new plan called Stretch Recharges for its pre-paid GSM mobile consumers across the country. Under the Stretch Recharges, the users get benefit of longer data pack validity but have to compromise with slightly less quantum of data. The Stretch Recharges basically address those who are in dire need of some extra Mobile Data or those who simply want to use WhatsApp.
The new Tata DoCoMo Stretch Recharge packages include a recharge for Rs 156 that offers 500 MB data valid for 60 days. Currently, Tata DoCoMo offers 3G services in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Haryana, Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra & Goa, Punjab, Rajasthan, and Uttar Pradesh (West).
Whereas the pre-paid GSM subscribers of Tata DoCoMo using 2G network can enjoy 500 MB data for 60 days at the price of Rs 136 pan India. However, the users in Tamil Nadu and Uttar Pradesh (East) can avail the same benefits by paying just Rs 96.
For the 2G network users, Tata DoCoMo also offers Stretch recharge worth Rs 136 to allow unlimited WhatsApp usage for 180 days in all circles except Tamil Nadu and Uttar Pradesh East. Whereas the pre-paid mobile subscribers in Tamil Nadu and Uttar Pradesh East can enjoy unlimited WhatsApp for 180 days by paying only Rs 96.
The Stretch Recharge packages are simply meant for communication or Messaging needs instead of mobile web entertainment.
