Tata Docomo launches plan based on daily usage

The GSM brand of Tata Teleservices has announced an offer that will enable prepaid subscribers to choose a new plan every day.

Tata Docomo, the GSM brand of Tata Teleservices, has announced an offer that will enable prepaid subscribers to choose a plan that suits their day to day requirements.
Under the ‘Daily Plan’, customers can opt for services such as GPRS, local calls, STD and ISD calls, night calling and music, according to their needs on that particular day. For example, if a subscriber opts for a night pack, it will be applicable till midnight of the day after activation, as the voucher has validity up till a fixed date. Thus, a person can make use of the night calling value within that day itself.
To activate this service, customers will need to dial *141# from their mobile phones and select the desired option. Soon after this call, a menu of product options will be displayed on the phone with further instructions to be followed. The user can use multiple packs in a single day.
Deepak Gulati, president, Tata Docomo, said in a company statement, “All prepaid subscribers, existing and new, can now opt for our innovative daily plans, which start from as low a denomination as Rs 5. We expect our subscribers to embrace this offer widely, as this gives them tremendous flexibility and the power of choice to take up a plan that suits their usage pattern for any particular day.”
