Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 with S Pen leaks in image

The tablet will come in two variants with SM-T820 and SM-T825 model numbers.

Samsung is holding an event on February 26, 2017, where it is expected to unveil the new Galaxy Tab S3 for which it has started sending out invites as well. While we have already seen so many leaks for the upcoming tablet till now, now today we have a first live image leaked online which shows its front side.

The leaked image has been revealed by the famous tipster ‘Roland Quandt’ of Winfuture.de via his Twitter handle and shows S Pen bundled with it. The device does not have a slot for the pressure-sensitive stylus. Hence, as per the report, it will be transported separately and will be a separate accessory. Additionally, the Galaxy Tab S3 will have a new Silver variant which will replace the former white variant while the tablet will retain its black colour option.

The tablet will come in two variants with SM-T820 and SM-T825 model numbers. While the former is said to be WiFi only, the latter is said to come with support. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 SM-T825 and SM-T820 have earlier got the all necessary approval from Federal Communications Commission (FCC). The tablet has already got the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth certifications earlier.

The Galaxy Tab S3 rumoured specifications include a 9.7-inch display with a resolution of 2048 × 1536 pixels. We are not really sure if it will be an panel or Samsung will yet again go for its trademark Super AMOLED display. Apart from this, the new Tab S3 is expected to be powered by a Snapdragon 820 coupled with 4GB of RAM. Samsung is also expected to give a 32GB or 64GB of internal storage which will be further expandable. The tablet is rumoured to come with a 12-megapixel rear camera coupled with a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. Also, we are likely to see 7.0 Nougat on board. As far as other specifications are concerned, we will keep you updated about the same as we head closer to the launch event.

The device is expected to be the successor to the Galaxy Tab S2. Samsung had launched the Galaxy Tab S2 way back in 2015 for Rs 39,400. The Galaxy Tab S2 comes with connectivity, WiFi (a/b/g/n/ac), Bluetooth 4.1, WiFi Direct, 32GB inbuilt memory and expandable storage of up to 128GB. The tablet has a 9.7-inch Super with 2048×1536 pixels resolution. The tablet measures 169 x 237.3 x 5.6mm and weighs 392g with a 5870 battery.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 has a powerful Exynos octa-core and huge 3 GB RAM. It also offers an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 2.1-megapixel front camera. The tablet has a fingerprint scanner as well along with Accelerometer, Gyroscope, Compass, Hall and RGB sensor S2.
