Reliance Jio has registered a dip in the download speed in the month of December. As per the latest data from Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI), Jio download speed was 18.7 Mbps during said month.
This is down as compared to the 20.3 Mbps 4G download speed during the month of November. Airtel, on the other hand, registered a slight increase in the speed with average download speed being 9.8 Mbps as compared to the 9.7 Mbps speed in November. Vodafone and Idea were able to provide a download speed of 6.3 Mbps and 6.0 Mbps respectively, which is less as compared to 6.8 Mbps and 6.2 Mbps in the month of November.
Coming to upload speed, Idea Cellular topped the chart with a 4G upload speed of 5.3 Mbps followed by Vodafone with 5.1 Mbps. Reliance Jio was on the third spot with an upload speed of 5.3 Mbps, while Airtel was the last place with an upload speed of 3.9 Mbps.
