Redmi Note 7 and Redmi Go storage variants and colour options for India revealed

Redmi Note 7 will be available in two variants - 3GB of RAM with 32GB of internal storage and 4GB of RAM with 64GB of internal storage.

Xiaomi’s new independent brand Redmi is planning to launch Redmi Note 7, Redmi Note 7 Pro, and Redmi Go smartphones in the Indian market by the end of the first quarter – end of March. Now ahead of their launch, the storage as well as colour variants of Redmi Note 7 and Redmi Go smartphones have surfaced online.

As per the report, Redmi Note 7 will be available in two variants – 3GB of RAM with 32GB of internal storage and 4GB of RAM with 64GB of internal storage. As for colour options, the Redmi Note 7 will be available in Black, Blue, and Red colours.

Redmi Note 7 and Redmi Go

The Redmi Go, on the other hand, will be available in a single variant in India with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. It will also come in same three colours as of the Redmi Note 7: Black, Blue, and Red.

Redmi Note 7 was launched in China last month in three variants – 3GB RAM priced at 999 Yuan which is approx. Rs 10,380, 4GB RAM for 1199 Yuan which is approx. 12,459 and 6GB RAM is priced at 1399 Yuan which is approx. Rs 14,537. It comes in Twilight Gold, Fantasy Blue, and Bright Black colour options.

The Redmi Note 7 features a 6.3-inch full-HD+ (1080×2340 pixels) 2.5D curved glass display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio, 450 nits brightness, 84 percent NTSC colour gamut and 5 protection. It is powered by the 2.2GHz Snapdragon 660 octa-core coupled with Adreno 512 GPU.

For the camera department, the Redmi Note 7 is equipped with a dual camera setup with one 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 sensor with flash and f/1.8 and another 5-megapixel sensor for depth information. Up front, there is a 13-megapixel selfie sensor as well. It runs on MIUI 10 based on Pie and is backed up by a 4,000mAh battery with Quick Charge 4 support.

Redmi Go smartphone was spotted in Philippines at PHP 3,990 which is approx. Rs 5,435. It will be featuring a 5-inch HD screen with 16:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 quad-core processor backed by Adreno 308 and paired with 1GB RAM. There is 8GB of internal storage, which can further be expanded up to 128GB with a card slot.

Redmi Go runs on Google’s Android 8.1 Oreo (Go Edition) and it is backed up by 3,000mAh battery which the company claims to offer 11 days of standby time. In the camera department, there is an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash support, and a 5-megapixel front camera.
