Xiaomi's sub-brand Redmi introduced the Redmi Go smartphone last week without any pricing details. Now the phone has been spotted in Philippines with its price.
Redmi Go is now up for pre-orders on Philippine site Lazada and it is priced at PHP 3,990 which is approx. Rs 5,435. The smartphone is listed in Black and Blue colour options. The shipping will begin from February 5 onwards.
The listing reveals that Redmi Go smartphone will be featuring a 5-inch HD screen with 16:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 quad-core processor backed by Adreno 308 GPU and paired with 1GB RAM. There is 8GB of internal storage, which can further be expanded up to 128GB with a microSD card slot.
Redmi Go runs on Google's Android 8.1 Oreo (Go Edition) and it is backed up by 3,000mAh battery which the company claims to offer 11 days of standby time. In the camera department, there is an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash support, and a 5-megapixel front camera.
Connectivity options for the phone will include dual-SIM support, 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, and a micro-USB port. Sensors on board include Light sensor, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer.
