Realme will introduce Realme 3 and Realme 1 in the first quarter of 2019.

Realme is reportedly set to launch two new smartphones in India. The brand is preparing to launch Realme 3 and Realme A1 smartphone in the country.

As per a report by MySmartPrice, Realme will introduce Realme 3 and Realme 1 in the first quarter of 2019. The report claims that the Realme 3 was recently certified by Singapore's IMDA certification agency with model number RMX1821. The company will also launch another smartphone with model number RMX1825, which could be none other Realme A1. The said smartphone is reported to be placed between Realme U1 and Realme 2.

Although the hardware specifications of the upcoming Realme 3 are not known at the moment, one could expect the addition of the latest technology like Dewdrop notch and attractive design from Realme.

As for the Realme A1 is concerned, the smartphone was earlier reported to be priced under Rs 10,000. The Realme A1 will be powered by a MediaTek Helio P70 processor paired with either 2GB or 3GB RAM paired with 32GB of internal storage. The phone will reportedly feature a primary camera of a 13-megapixel sensor and a secondary camera of 2-megapixel sensor paired with LED flash on the rear panel. For the front, the Realme A1 will have an 8-megapixel camera.  It will be fueled by a massive 4,200mAh battery and will run Android 8.1 Oreo-based on its customized ColorOS UI.

For Realme, the year 2019 will be tough as the competition will be strong this year. We have seen established players like Samsung bringing in a good proposition in the budget segment, while brands like Xiaomi are gearing up to introduce new technologies for its masses. Even Oppo has introduced a new smartphone with in-display fingerprint sensor at an affordable price tag. The brand needs to bring new innovations to keep up with the competition and simultaneously, it has to keep a tap on regular software updates in order to survive in this industry.
