OnePlus 7T confirmed to run Android 10 out of the box

OnePlus 7T will be the first smartphone officially pre-loaded with Google’s latest version of Android- Android 10.

OnePlus 7T smartphone along with OnePlus TV will be launched in India on September 26. Now just ahead of the launch, OnePlus 7T phone is being teased to come with Android 10 out-of-the-box.


OnePlus has posted a tweet yesterday which has confirmed that OnePlus 7T will come preloaded with Android 10. It means that OnePlus 7T will be featuring all the key Android 10 features, including the system-wide Dark Theme, location controls, smart reply and enhanced privacy controls. 


OnePlus 7T will be the first smartphone officially pre-loaded with Google’s latest version of Android- Android 10. The latest development comes after the roll out of a stable version of Android 10 update to OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro smartphones. Last week, Huawei launched Mate 30 series with Android 10 and EMUI 10, but the phones come without Google apps.



CEO and Founder of OnePlus, Pete Lau also issued a statement saying “We’re thrilled to offer Android 10, the latest software version, for our upcoming OnePlus 7T.” “OnePlus will be the first smartphone manufacturer to preload Android 10 with Google’s apps and services on their latest device.” He also continued, “Our ‘Never Settle’ mindset ensures we are constantly seeking new ways to share the latest technology, giving our community the best 'fast and smooth' experience possible”.


Apart from Android 10, the company has already confirmed that the new smartphone will come with a 90Hz display. OnePlus 7T is expected to feature a 6.55-inch Fluid AMOLED FullHD+ display with 90Hz refresh rate, 2400×1080 pixels resolution, HDR10+ support and 402 ppi pixel density.  


OnePlus 7T will feature a 48-megapixel primary camera with ƒ/1.6 aperture, optical and electronic image stabilisation and 16-megapixel ultra-wide camera with 120-degree field of view and ƒ/2.2 aperture’ but instead of an 8-megapixel camera with 3X zoom, the OnePlus 7T will feature a 12-megapixel Telephoto lens with 2X zoom and ƒ/2.2 aperture. There will be a 16-megapixel camera with ƒ/2.0 aperture and EIS for selfies and video calling. 


The OnePlus 7T will be powered by a 7nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ chipset coupled with an Adreno 640 GPU and 8GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of storage. It will run on OxygenOS based on Android 10 and will feature an optical in-display fingerprint sensor. It will be backed by a 3,800mAh battery with WARP Charge 30T Fast Charging support.
