ZTE sub-brand Nubia is reportedly working on a new gaming smartphone dubbed as Nubia Red Magic 3. The phone key specifications and the name have been confirmed by the company.
The specifications have been posted on the Chinese social media website, Weibo. Nubia General Manager, Ni Fei, teased some features of the upcoming smartphone. The teaser reveals that the phone will feature liquid and air cooling that should ideally help in cooling the core temperature of the CPU during intense gaming sessions. The teaser further reveals that the phone will be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Processor along with Adreno 640 GPU.
The phone will be backed by a massive 12GB of RAM, which is similarly present in Black Shark 2 Gaming Phone. The company teases that the display will feature a ‘higher Refresh Rate than most gaming PCs’. This could mean that it could support a screen refresh rate of 120Hz or more.
Fei also revealed that the phone will be equipped with a 3,800mAh battery and there will be a 4D vibration system that will provide better haptic feedback when you are playing games. The phone is pegged to launch in China in April, while there is no information whether it will be available for the Indian market or not.
To recall, the company introduced its Red Magic Gaming smartphone in India last year. The phone comes with a price tag of Rs 29,999. TheNubia Red Magic comes with a 5.99-inch Full HD+ display with a tall 18:9 aspect ratio and a contrast ratio of 1500:1. The display is covered with a 2.5D curved NEG T2X-1 screen and has a total Resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels.
